I have been leaning towards work shoes or water resistant sneakers because I rarely wear dress shoes and don't need to be stuck in the office with wet feet. After trying several brands including some options twice as expensive as these, I made my first purchase of a Skechers product, and I'm pretty impressed so far. These took a little longer to break in than other brands and initially felt very tight around the toes but that is no longer an issue. Possibly something related to the padding/memory foam still forming to fit my foot? After about two weeks including several uncomfortable first days with a lot of walking around, these feel pretty good and I've had no problems with sizing or the heals slipping. I've had the heel padding start to shred on other brands after a matter of weeks and so far see no signs of it starting to wear on these. The overall style is great, the tread is very sturdy, but still have to take a star off for a very uncomfortable break in period compared to other brands.

Size 13 D feels is what I usually wear and these fit good. Description says they have a "relaxed fit " which means kinda loose. Comfortable to just wear around and I add a pair of thin Soles insoles when I go for my daily hike. They fill up the "relaxed fit" extra room and make them more supportive. Insoles are not removable but it seems like they might be taken out with a little tugging. Not waterproof but Scotchguarded and I wore them yesterday after a freak September snow of about 4 inches and my feet stayed dry.

We have ordered Sketchers for years. My son likes this Crossbar style but thinks they are a little too bouncy because of the memory foam. We all require a very supportive shoe, and the new gel feature added to many sneakers these days makes for a less secure and unstable fit. Overall, my son gives them four stars.

These shoes were too loose on my feet. When I received the shoes there was a tag on the shoes that noted that these shoes were "Relaxed Fit". This had not been described in the listing. I believe that the "Relaxed Fit" was the reason these felt loose on my feet. I returned these shoes.

I am a 64 year old woman with a bunion. The women's shoes aren't wide enough, so I buy men's usually. These are very roomy in the toe, so no problem for the bunion. I wear a size 8 in women's, and a 7 in men's. I bought 1/2 size larger to accomodate heavier socks. Satisfied with this purchase, and Skechers' pricing. Zappo's is the best shoe store in my opinion.

Love the shoe but had to return it. I wear a 13 wide in this type of shoe. Just to be safe I ordered a 14 wide. My toe was hitting the front of the shoe because of the extreme rounded toe which I like for the styling. I needed a 15 wide Zappos does not carry.
