If anything, these shoes felt a little bit bigger than the size I normally wear. In New Balance balance balance, I generally take a 10 1/2 2E so when I read the reviews that said these Jews tended to run small, I ordered an 11 wide. That was much too large. Even the 10 1/2 felt a little big. Having said that, I really like these issues. They are very comfortable, stylish, and seem to provide an appropriate amount of support. As always, Zappos customer service was fabulous when I needed to return the first pair. if there is any problem with the wear of the shoe , I will edit this review.

First time buying shoes off line very happy with the shoes and the fit.

This is a comfortable supportive shoe. I noticed that 3 of the 4 reviews said it fit small, so I ordered a half size larger than normal and I'm glad I did. Perfect fit. This may not be the case for all, but it worked for me.

I had ordered another pair of Skechers, size 8.5 W. I tried it on after it arrived and was a little snug in the width. I contacted Skechers to see if I could try on a 2E size. Skechers did not have the model I had previously ordered in 2E. The Skechers’ rep. suggested the Crossbar model in size 9 2E because that model runs slightly small. When the Crossbar arrived, I tried it on and was pleased with the advice given as the fit was a bit roomier, but the length was not longer than the earlier model which I had initially ordered.

I liked the look of these shoes immediately. (Taupe/Black) Since I no longer run due to various health problems brought on by age, (I’m almost 70) I wanted an attractive, stylish, casual shoe that offered the same comfortable feel of a running shoe, along with the same breathability, yet had more cushioning and support when standing for long periods. As you would expect they weigh a bit more than a running shoe, but as soon as put them on and walked around, I knew I had the exact shoe I was looking for. I wear a size 10.5 and based on other reviews I ordered a half size larger. (size 11) They fit perfectly. Within days of receiving them, I was at an event that had me standing on my feet for around 5 hours and I could not believe how much better my feet and legs felt. I used to hike long distances in the mountains extensively as well? and would say for day hikes these would be a great choice for any age group. Highly recommended. Great shoe at an even greater price.
