These boots are awesome!

I love these boots! They are comfortable and look amazing. I did not experience trouble getting the boot on. I would buy them again for sure!

These shoes fit great. I have size 11 feet with no arches. I have plantar fascitis and the only shoes that help my feet are Birkenstocks so I feel they are worth every penny. I read reviews that these are hard to get on but I didn't have any issues, they fit great, they feel great. I have gotten several compliments on them. I love them!

These boots are so comfortable and I get compliments all the time. I can wear them all day walking all over the city and still feel great. Yes, they are hard to get on at first but believe me, they break in and are so easy. Highly recommend!

I love, love, love these! I have been looking for a short boot, for some time, that is comfortable leather, warm with good arch support, and stylish. These fit all the boxes on my checklist. I have found all Birkenstocks to be comfortable, but not all are as stylish as these, Yes, they are a bit of a struggle to get on in the beginning. After a few times, the leather is more forgiving. Until then, a shoe horn for the back and the use of the side tabs work just fine.

I read the reviews about poor fit before I bought these. I'm happy to say that for me at least, they weren't true! I had no issues getting my foot in and out of the boot, and can do so without opening the zipper. They're super comfortable and my toes have plenty of wiggle room. The main thing is I did have to size up in these. The insoles are removable so you can put your own insole in if you want. I wanted these as a replacement for my Frye boots, which I still love, but was starting to get heel pain from. Once I tried these on, I returned the other mephisto boots I liked (which are double the price!). I have them in the mud waxed suede, which is lighter than pictured. I wish there was more on how to properly care for these shoes.

They fit great . Bought all three colors and wore them each for a full day. I am someone who has had ten broken toes and two knee replacements. Perfect fit. No problems.

Great fit. Ordered the same size as Birkenstock sandals and they fit great. Not too hard to get on. Look great with jeans.

Incredibly comfortable. The only problem is getting into them. It’s very difficult at first and a shoe horn is helpful. Over tome they loosen up. The benefits outweigh the burden from my perspective,

I so want to love these. I originally ordered a 39, since that is what I have in the Mayari sandal and absolutely love them. (In other shoes I normally wear 8-8.5) They felt a half size too big. Either my heel would sit nicely but the height and toebox felt a little too big or my heel would come up and rub on the back. So then I ordered the next size down at 38. Those came and felt too snug and short in the toebox but heel sat better. After wearing for a few days around the house, the 38 just felt too cramped and made my feet sore when I was out of the boot. I'm still testing out the 39, seeing if an extra thick sock will do the trick or whatnot, because I think they would be a great boot if my feet were the right size. Also, I have plantar fasciitis, so finding a nice supportive shoe was exciting to find... it's like a mystical unicorn.

I agree with other reviewers that this boot runs small FOR A BIRKENSTOCK. I read like a thousand reviews and finally decided to order my usual size in Birks - a 39. Every other shoe that I own is a 9 or 9.5, but in Birks I am a 39 (which correlates to an 8 or 8.5). I have average width feet with a super high instep. When the 39s arrived it was a major struggle to get them on - there was sweat and a shoehorn involved - and when I finally did my toes hit the front of the shoe. I returned them and ordered the same boots in a 40 (which correlates to a 9 or 9.5) and the fit is perfect. Slips on and off easily, the footbed is perfect, and they have the same comfort that I've come to expect in a Birk. I would say order whatever your normal shoe size is, even if you normally size down in Birkenstocks. A little trial and error was worth it.

I bought mine in the "mud" color but mine seem very different from the picture. I still like them and I'm going to keep them, but it wasn't exactly what I was expecting. The photo looks like light brown suede, but the pair I received actually have more of a pink-ish tint and are smooth leather. I have some sandals in 36 but opted for the 37 here because I like to wear thicker socks with my boots. It looks like I'll need to because they have been rubbing on my heels/back of ankles. Unlike some reviews, I had no problem putting them on but I could see how some might have issues as it's kind of tight. The footbed is lined with leather but you can still feel the good ol birkenstock footbed underneath. It does not not have the arched part by the toes like the sandals do, which I think was a good decision for boots. I'm hoping these will become more comfortable as they are broken in, and I'm hoping they will last me many more years.

Had to return. I didn’t have the same problem as others with high arches did getting on the boot. They went on fine, didn’t really need the zipper. I usually wear 38 in Birks but ordered 39 and it felt just right. My problem was I was hoping for more of the Birkenstock footbed, these do not have that and my plantar fasciitis was not having it. It’s a nice boot, good quality but if you wear Birks for foot health reasons I would be skeptical that these would work for you. Trying out the London’s next.

I ordered a size 40 which fit perfectly (normally size 9-9.5). They have a room in the toe area and have nice arch support. For the price, they feel a little hard on the bottom, but I'm still breaking them in. I wear Birkenstock sandals all summer, and soles are much more stiff/hard than the sandals; however, they are still pretty comfy. I've had no problems wearing these all day at work, and am on my feet a lot. Love that they are cute but practical, comfy, and don't have a heel. Can dress them up or down. I didn't have any problems getting these on and off.

These fit well and have the usual great Birkenstock comfort. They look slightly like galoshes but with the right outfit should still look ok. I needed something with more leg coverage - so had to return. I had no problem getting them on or off.- maybe alittle too large.

I wear a 39 in the sandals, but I order a size up in the other Birkenstock shoes, and I had no problems putting the boots on, and they aren’t too big. My only complaint is that the color is a bit lighter than that pictured.

Here's the trick to getting these on -- use a shoehorn! It makes all the difference. Really cute boot. The footbed feels different from my Birkenstock sandals, with an unusual bump on the outer edge of the foot, but I trust the brand to know what's good for feet, and they are comfortable. I can't wear any heels anymore because of back problems, and these were just what I was looking for.

I don’t understand how so many people say they have a hard time getting their feet in these boots. I have two pairs and I can slip them on and off easily without even unzipping the boots. I’m used to the soft footbed in my clogs and sandals so they are not as cushioned, but still comfortable after wearing all day.

Tried two sizes and neither worked for me. Either toe box too short or heel area too big. I have never been able to wear Birkenstock’s, but thought I would give them a try. They are cute though.

I ordered size 39 and 40 because some reviewers say size runs larger. I normally wear 7.5W to 8M so in this case size 39 was perfect and I didn't want to go down to 38 since this is not a wide shoes. Contrary to many reviewers, I did not have any problem at all I could get my foot in the boots within 2 seconds like slipping on socks but I had to return because the heel is very wide which is very unusual because my wide forefoot fit just fine but my heel would lift up on every step which makes walking uncomfortable. Otherwise this is a very nice boots that would accomodate thick ankles and calves, but if your heel is narrow it might not work for you.

These fit fine - I bought my usual size and had no difficulty getting them on. Sadly, where the leather has been 'pre-slouched' creates wrinkles and ridges that rubbed against my ankle bones when i walked. Sending them back.

the footbed felt like the right size for my foot but my heel was slipping around which made me feel like i was tensing up my whole foot when I walked. I don't feel like the arch support was as high as in my sandals. I am very disapointed. Also, they are so wide at the foot opening. The look is a little awkward. You can kind of only wear them with leggings or skinny jeans and I was wanting something to wear with boyfriend jeans. I have plantar fasciatis and other foot issues so I am disapointed. I had high hopes for a cute pair of boots I wouldn't have to spend $70 putting a custom insole into.

I really loved the look of this boot and had high hopes for loving them. However the medium width was too wide for me and the length was too short. I tried the 41 and it was way too big and my foot flopped around in them. True they do not had the support of the sandals but the fit just did not work for me .

I love Birkenstock’s. I’ve got some foot issues and these shoes usually work well for me. I ordered the suede pull on boots assuming I could just slip my foot into the boot but it was too much of a struggle to get them on. And they were “oiled” suede so more like leather which was also disappointing. I don’t think I would’ve kept them even if I was able to slip them on easily. My fault I’m sure as I probably did not take the time to read the detailed description. May try the Birkenstock’s sneakers but will wait for reviews and this time I’ll pay attention to comments!
