I love birkenstocks. i have so many pairs and usually would leave a good review but these shoes didn't preform like i thought. after a week the sole was crumbled and couldn't support my heel. i understand the speak of cork bottom shoes but the way these are created makes it easy for them to get ruined destroyed.

I was very disappointed in the packaging of the item. I paid full price, $145 PLUS shipping and handling, but the shoes were sent worse than I have ever received anything from eBay. They were wrapped in plastic and sent in a Zappos box. There was no Birkenstock box with tissue NOR an invoice or packing slip. I am not sure that I will be buying from Zappos anymore.
