Great beanie for being active in the cold.

Love it for technical hiking in unpredictable weather.

I love this beanie! I live in Florida but travel to the northeast occasionally. This is my easy carry, go to, winter hat. It fits easily into my inside jacket pocket and is always there when I need it.

Love the hat as it keeps you warm and looks great. Fits just right and is another great quality smart wool product.

I am 75 years young, bike 24 miles weekly and long distance trail ride (horses) weekly even in freezing conditions. Without the SmartWool beanie inside both of my helmets, I would be in trouble especially in windy conditions which near the ocean is frequent. I am thankfulful for this beanie as it perfectly covers my ears and eliminates heat loss through my head plus my comfort level even in bitter cold is excellent. I bought my husband this hat last year and he wears it every day it is below 70 degrees! He loves it so much that I bought a second as a back-up!

I love how light they are and how great they wick away sweat.. they dry fast .. and fit well.. I trail run.. and Fat tire mountain bike year round.. The beanie fits well under my bike helmet.. and snowboard helmet..

This is a great beanie for chilly spring or fall mornings/nights. Really happy with this hat!

The quality of the item is great but I returned it cuz I think is too thin, not enough warm for me.

LOVE this beanie. My 3rd one. Unfortunately, because I carry it with me all the time I've lost 2, but it's my every day cover up for a quick walk outside at lunch, skinning on a sunny day. It breaths, wicks and drys quickly.

an essential piece of gear for a baldy like me- or anyone who wants to pocket a hat/helmet liner just in case! Dinging a star because of boring colours/patterns- but at least the logo is modest.

I've loved most all Smartwool purchases; however, i didn't know how thin this beanie was. I thought it was going to be the normal wool texture. .

An little long for my liking

Soft,tin,warm however to big . Still is nice to have it and carry with you in a purse in case if you need to wear it.

Keeps head warm. Does not itch.(rare) Packs into nothing. Logo reflective. Washes well. Air dry. Turn down heat, wear hat and Smartwool. Petite female. Does mash hair. Good for hiking. Sleeping. Covering gnarly hair, hipster style.

Use this cap under my cycling helmet to keep my noggin warm. Works great. A few times it snuck out of the washing machine into the dryer by attaching itself to something and I didn't see that. Shrunk quite a bit. I pull and stretch it out to fit but now it doesn't cover my ears. Don't put this in the dryer. Lesson learned. I've had to buy more than one for this reason. Yea, stupid me. But wish it wouldn't shrink so much.

I had to return this beanie because it wasn't quite big enough for my large head and I hated to because it was made very well.

Well made and fits fine but VERY thin. Might work under a broad-brimmed hat for cool weather hiking but not under a ski helmet.

I am a small woman, and this just does not fit! I was SO disappointed, because I need a lightweight beanie for cool, windy days. The other beanies I have get too hot for those days. I gave it to my husband and he wears it at the hospital. It's very, very lightweight.

Too big for me

Pretty much what I expected. Just not a snug enough fit. Feels stretched out.
