SADLY THESE BOOTS FIT AS DESCRIBED IN MANY REVIEWS--TOE IS BOXY AND THE HEEL TOO LOOSE. A HALF SIZE LARGER PROBABLY WOULD FIT BETTER BUT THE HEEL IS SO LOOSE I COULD WALK OUT OF THESE EVEN WHILE ZIPPED. THEY'RE BEING RETURNED

I really wanted to keep these boots. The style and color was perfect. My problem was the fit which was surprising for Born footwear. The length was perfect. There was a problem with the toe area, even with thinner socks. The toe box was rounded and looked like my other Born boots, but for some reason my toes were feeling crunched when walking around. I wore the boots indoors for a couple of days to see if they would loosen up, but unfortunately had to return. A bigger size would not make a difference because my foot would have slipped right out of the boot when walking. I think these boots are definitely worth trying due to the quality, style and free shipping and return policy.

I have two other pair of Born boots. Both of which are size 11 and very roomy even with mediun weight wool socks. This pair felt like a size 10 and with thin socks were super tight. They look like a great style. I usually wear a 10 1/2 when I can get them so thought this 11 would be great with thicker wool socks. Too bad, would have liked to wear this cute style

I love the sturdiness of these cool boots. I had looked everywhere for these boots, out of stock, even the company. I was so disappointed and then miracle, Zappos had one pair, my size! I am so happy.

I normally wear a 7 but was advised to get 6.5. It was probably the right choice. They feel perfect on my heel but maybe a tad tight in the width. Length is ok. I’m guessing the leather will stretch a bit. I just wear thinner socks,

The sizing was good , felt right . I have had them for a couple of years now . I do love the style . They are still in good shape . I am considering buying another pair! I live the style so much . They are versatile with tights abd jeans . I don’t see any style that appeals to me more !!

I never leave reviews but I felt like I had to take the time to comment on these booties!!!! They are fantastic... I wore them brand new out of the box to work... brought back ups along but never changed out of them! I have a very hard time finding anything that I can stand and walk in for a full shift at work and these fit the bill. Very stylish had multiple compliments in one day! You will not regret buying these.

I thought these shoes fit fine. One foot of mine is larger than the other because of bunions but I just wore an extra sock on that foot and the fit was fine. I like the arch support and the fact that I was able to wear them all day with no problems. I also think they are really cute!

Felt a little smaller than my other size 8 shoes. I just wear thinner socks. Material feels and looks great. My wife loves the look of them.

I wear a 9-9.5 and bought a 9. I think the 9.5 would have been too big, so I'm glad I did. My socks slipped down the first time or two I wore them, but then it magically stopped doing that! I've just worn them approximately 4-5 times and they get more comfy each time. I wear them for 9 hours at a time and my feet don't hate me at the end of the day. I absolutely LOVE them and am already wondering what I'm going to do when these wear out because they are so cute! I love wearing them with leggings, too, not just always with jeans.

I normally wear a 9.5 in all other shoes. I had to buy these in a 8.5. All other peoples review say they move up and down when they walk. You definitely need to buy these a whole size smaller. I have same brand of these in the tall boots and had to order an 8.5 instead of a 9.5. These are super cute. They do kinda rub at top when u walk but in time it should get better.

I’m absolutely obsessed with these booties and I want to wear them every single day. Such a effortless rugged chic look. Looks great with my tights or skinny jeans with a cute top and cardigan. I just can’t say enough good things about them. The fit is spot on true to size. Buy them!

I love the look, but sadly they don't fit like any other Born shoes/boots that I have. I had to return because they are too big. All other Born boots that I have run true to size, but not these. Sadly, I don't think these will fit me right in any size.

These are the most comfortable pair of booties i've ever had. I have a wide foot so the zip on both sides makes them easy to put on ... you won't be disappointed ...

I love these. My heel did not move around at all. Very comfy and love the fit and the look!

The fit was great, a it wide in the heel, as others had mentioned. But if wearing for cooler weather a sock should take care of that situation!

First pair too large. Second pair fit perfectly. BUT the heels are fairly wide and either my socks would end up with holes, or my feet would end up with blisters. These are so darn cute!! Really really wanted them but no sense to buy boots I can’t wear...... thank you Zappos.

My left foot is slightly longer than my right so the left boot fit was tight...the right was perfect in the size 9...am returning and purchasing the 9 1/2.

I liked the looks of these shoes and think they would be good for three seasons of the year where I live. I like the color and the quality of the leather is nice. However, as several reviews said, I am returning these to order one-half size smaller than my usual. I would have had to wear very thick socks with these and since I want to wear them throughout the year, I would prefer a smaller size.

I am IN LOVE with these boots! It took just one day of break-in to soften them up, and now they feel like butter on my feet. I have worn them every single day since receiving them, no lie. I love the loose ankle and the distressed, casual look. I wish there were a color that were more grey-black-- I would buy it, Born! Meanwhile the taupe color is neutral enough to wear with black leggings in a casual setting.

I ordered a 7.5 but I will need a size 8, they are just a bit too short.. Love the style.

Usually wear 8.5-9 medium width. Size 8.5 is perfect. Purchased rustic distressed. Love the lived in comfortable look of the boot right out of the box. Roomy enough for thicker socks or orthotics. Soft but sturdy leather folds quickly and naturally. Bought a second pair in taupe. Would have gone for theee if hey made these gems in black.

I love these and feel trendy (for a granny) when I wear them! I wear an 8-8 1/2 and I ordered the 8 1/2. I wear them with thick socks. I live in Colorado so I’ll wear them a lot.

Really liked the look of the shoe when first saw it. I read the reviews so originally ordered a half size smaller I normally wear. Turns out my regular size 8!was perfect fit. These shoes Are perfect and exactly what I wanted to wear with jeans and leggings. Super comfortable fit. Love the two zipper styling. The height at the ankle is just right and they look and feel great. If not for the cost, I would have 2 pair... one in each color! They will be well worn all fall and winter. This was a great purchase!

Love these boots! I was looking for a leather bootie with a good sole for snowy weather in New England, as well as rounded toe and these are perfect. Thinking I might need a leather protectant to keep them in good shape, though so far so good!
