The style and comfort is the best thing about the boots. However, the boot is truly worthless and a waste of money if you would like them for COLD weather. They are not meant to be worn outside in weather under 35 degrees. They are water proof!!!! LOL...SAVE YOUR MONEY!!

I returned the Adirondack Boot, because it was too small. I normally wear size 9 and had ordered 9.5, but it was still small. I didn't bother to order an even larger size, because they were also narrow. I wear medium width, not wide. These felt like a narrow and there was no opportunity for them to stretch, due to their sturdiness. It is an attractive boot and looked like it would meet my needs for the harsh winters in N.Y. Adk region. I was able to return the boots for free and get a prompt refund.

Last year got the Adirondack- fit great and so comfortable
Got the III - to narrow and the insole is cheaper - not as comfortable
Going up a half size is not the proper fit for a wider foot
Hope they go back to original fit and insole
