I have extra wide feet, high insteps, wide ankles and calves. I ordered these in 9 WW. They felt tight in width and instep but in time I believe would stretch. I was unable to zip them up even at the ankles. I then purchased the 9ww in wide calves size. Just a slight bit roomier in the ankle but still unable to zip up very far.

I'm exchanging these to try the wide calf version because I could barely zip these up over my pretty average calves. I'm 5"4 and the height of these boots is good, however.

I returned these as the wide didn't fit (too narrow) and I already went up 1/2 size. I also used $13 VIP points that were not given back upon return. Getting more and more disappointed with Zappos.

Much too tight across the front of the foot AND much too loose around the calf. Also, the hardware appears pewter in the photos and it's actually brown.

I normally wear an 11 and this was very narrow. I love the style and really wanted them to fit but they are way too tight.

The shoes are so disappointing in person. The leather looks very cheap and plastic-y. They do say that they are made of leather but it must be coated with something bc it doesn't look high quality. The soles are so thin that I don't think they would be comfortable to wear all day. The tops flair out by my shin and make my lower legs look wider than they are....not really the look I'm going for. If you want to make your shins look thicker than I guess these are the boots for you.

This boot is not wide calf. The zipper came up halfway and that was it. My calfs are 16in. Absolutely not. I'm returning today. Not sure what the ladies who raved about the boots being wide enough legs are shapped like but obviously what they consider to be wide is NOT.

Shaft and foot runs very narrow. Could not even zip over my foot and it was clear from the point of trying them on that, if I could get past my ankle, they would not zip over my ankle or calf. I am typically between a regular and a wide calf (wide calf can be slightly too wide).

I ordered a Wide width and they were narrower than a regular width boot. I also had to check to see if it was leather, the material seemed like cheap pleather.

The color was dull and unattractive. Both boots arrived with the leather scuffed up around the opening and the foot. I wear a size ten and these were too tight. I'm sending these back.

Looked cute. Terribly uncomfortable at the first moment.

I am sure the boots I ordered for my daughter was not the correct size the boot was a WIDE width. We need to send them back.. She already has the same boot that fits perfectly which she bought a couple of years ago and she has worn them out. We were excited to find the same book which we ordered 8 1/2 regular width. We need to send these back.

I was so disappointed in these boots. I am an 8W and read the reviews and thought that these would be a perfect fit. Not so. I had so much trouble getting my foot into the boot. Very tight. Couldn't even zip them up all the way. My daughter is a size 8 and the same thing happened to her. Too bad. Such a pretty boot. P.S. All by other boots and shoes are 8W and fit fine.

They or too small in the calf area.

Unfortunately the adjustability for these boots is only to make the calves larger. I really needed them to be adjustable to fit a smaller calf. It's hard to find a boot for smaller calves.

I have broken both my ankles at various times, and that has caused quite wide ankles and calves. I could hardly zip these up, and that was without my insoles which I definitely would have needed. These were a zero for me.

I am SO disappointed! I have had great luck with Zappos over the years; however, this time I struck out. I ordered these and when I got them I could not get the zipper on the left boot to work. After struggling with it for several minutes, it finally zipped. The next time I went to wear them, it would not budge. I tried everything and spent about an hour doing so -- to no avail. I returned them for an exchange (same size, style, color), which was very prompt. The second pair did the same thing on the same left boot!! It must have something to do with a seam that meets the zipper. I just received them and I am sending them back in the morning. I hope other people have better luck.
