XL fits in the chest but too large for the belly. I'll get it tailored to fit instead of sending back because I really like the vest otherwise.

I WALK CLOSE TO 5 MILES A DAY WITH THE DOG. ITS THE NICEST VEST I'VE HAD. TYPICALLY I GO WITHLLBEAN BUT THEY STOPPED MY FAVORITE VEST FOR THE SKINNY LOOK SO I SWITCHED. ZIPPER POCKETS WERE A MUST.

I purchased the plaid wool nuptse vest and have had it for a few years now, my only reccomendation to anyone wanting the nuptse vest; don't buy the plaid wool one. The fabric is not lacking in warmth or quality or anything like that but if you're very active and moving around a lot you will find that the wool material making up the top part of the vest to be very uncomfortable and rough on your neck and underneath your jaw line. Other than that the 700 fill down is no joke. I work outside in 34 degree weather in light to moderate rain for half an hour at a time constantly in it, and the vest holds up very well. It is very lightweight but not too lightweight that it's not noticeable. Just don't get that plaid one if it ever comes back, go with the smooth material the vest is normally made out of. The plaid one is also very difficult to pack in it's own pocket as well.

Aside from the comfortable, stylish feel, it's also very nostalgic. This vest is exactly how I remember the one I had in the late 90s. Fits true to size and made with great quality.

Bought this vest in black for my boyfriend in a 2x and he absolutely loves it.

I love this vest. It doesn't constrict me when im trying to drive when I wear it out, but yet still keeps me warm.

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend for Christmas. I think it is exactly what he was looking for. It is not too bulky, but also looks very warm.

Love these just ordered another in red, if you're s driver and don't like to drive with a heavy coat on this is the best! Worth every penny.

Perfect for sweaters , I usually don't like wearing sweaters underneath my winter jackets , so when I do feel the need too I wear my vest and it's perfect size......

The fix was comfortable and the looks are great, but the only drawback is its little puffed making you feel less comfortable on the top, but you can still move in it.

I've been relying upon TNF gear since 1992, when I purchased my first Mountain Jacket for an alpine climbing/training trip in the North Cascades. Since then, I've used TNF gear and clothing everywhere from Bolivia to Japan. The Nuptse vest is a classic: well-designed, functional, and stylish. I can wear it casually in the ski lodge, and to keep warm while belaying an ice pitch at Mt. Washington's Amphitheater. Hopefully, TNF will continue to produce classics like the Nuptse vest and jacket, and should bring back the Lhotse jacket and Nuptse pants.
