The boots are beautiful, but are very narrow. I bought a size 8 & it hugged my foot. The top of the boots didnt go all around my calves so I was worried I'd have to return them. I found a way to close them. I scrunch them down , zipped it up little by little then pulled them up. In conclusion if u have skinny feet & small calves (smaller than my 16 1/2 inches) then this is ur boot. Comfortable to walk in.

Attractive boot, flattering fit. Not as comfortable as other timberland boots in the footbed, so not a 'walk all day boot.' A bit stiff for the foot.

I bought a size 8 1/2 and they are squeezing my toes. I'm gonna take them to a shoe repair and see if they can stretch them.

I want to love these boots. The length was perfect (size 11) but the calf was way too big. There is an elastic at the top so I assumed the boots would be made smaller at the top and the elastic would accommodate larger calves. I'm not sure how the models in the pictures can possibly have the boots fit so well. I have average sized calves based on other boots, certainly not small, but these were 1/2-3/4" too big all the way from my ankle up to the top of the boot. My heel kept coming up in the boot when I walked. They seem well made and the leather is beautiful - thicker than I had expected.

I purchased a half a size up given the reviews. They were still too small in the toe box and too wide at the top of the boot great if you have narrow feet, fuller calves, and are tall (these are Tall boots, after all). The color and feel of the leather was wonderful and the style was just what I was looking for. Sadly, I'm returning them. If I go up a half or full size, they would gape way too much at the top. I wish they came in Wide and regular (versus Tall) then they would be keepers!

These boots are beautiful. Super soft leather that looks great, but the calves are huge! I ended up sending them back because they gaped open at the top and just didn't look right.

These will not work for narrow calves! I was excited to see the 14" measurement in the details but these are just over 16" at the opening for your leg. Otherwise, good quality. I usually wear a 9.5. Ordered a 10 and they're a little snug. Would love to keep them but the leg is just too big:

These boots were so tight I could not even get my foot in. I have high arches but haven’t had this problem in awhile. They were super cute so I was very disappointed.

The boots are extremely comfortable - as always with a Timberland boot. They're beautiful and well-made. The calf however is at least a full 2 inches wider than stated in the description, and this is without stretching the elastic - mine measure 42 cm/16.5 inch instead of the 36 cm/14 inch mentioned in the description, making this more of a wide-calf boot. Unfortunately I'll have to return mine for that reason.

As many others have noted, I had issues with the calf area. My calves are not small, I'm not small. But they're not huge. For reference, I can't wear Torrid shoes or boots bc the ankle & calf area is substantially too large for me and I wear a 0 or 1 in their clothes. Anyway, I couldn't zip them all the way up. I only had 1 pair of jeans on and in the winter I may wear 2 pairs of leggings under jeans so I KNEW these shoes had to go back. Loved the length tho

Would have loved them if they had fit!! Sized at least a size too small. I am having to return them because of this.

It would be a must better if this shoe sizes came in wide it is so narrow.
