The shoe was comfortable but tight in the toe area. I had to return them. I wanted to exchange them for another size but was worried about my heel slipping. Did not want the shoe too big.

This shoe seems very wide in the toe box.

I have other Merrell Sirens (an older line), and wanted something with a bright color. Unfortunately, even though I ordered the same size as before, the toe box is much wider, and my foot could move around. I had to return. The support seemed good though.

The shape of the shoe was nice. Toes box almost wide enough for a wider than average foot, but no real cushioned feeling with walking and no feel of support, especially in the arches. Style and color are nice. Good price and I like the idea but not comfortable to me.

I am a big Merrell shoe fan, and I was looking for something lighter weight and a little more feminine than what I had. As always, the fit on these Merrell’s was great- I just wasn’t happy with the look. The striping on the shoe was plastic looking and the toe shape was asymmetrical, and I didn’t care for that. Just a matter of personal taste. A true Zappo experience of getting the shoes in a timely way, hassle free return, and a quick reorder of something that did work!

Nice looking shoes but do not give the support like the trail glove I usually order. Will not order again.

They look cheaply made in person and after a few hours of walking in Them, they aren't real Comfortable. I was sadly disappointed. I really wanted to love these shoes. :(

I really really really wanted to love these, so I kept them for 2 years trying to make them work (and hence can’t return them, so they have to go into the Goodwill pile). They look great, and the cushioning is great. However, they never stopped cutting into my heels - within 30 minutes of every wear, my heels were bleeding.

I bought the mid boot ones super happy that I was going to use them for my hiking but unfortunately they didn't match my expectations from Merrell. Positive note they are comfortable and light but only good for small trails. I was very disappointed in the grip of this model. I found myself slipping and was always uncomfortable with my balance in the boots like as if the bottoms were waxed! I have another pair of hiking shoes from another brand and their grip is what I expected and need on rocky terrain. These Boots are not what one needs for a real hike. Too bad because my boyfriend has a pair of Merrell hiking boots and I was way off base with these ones.

I wore these while hiking a rocky trail. I found them way too low on the ankle and they had very little stability. I was surprised that they did not have the extra lace hole at the top like most running sneakers do. No matter how tight I tied them they did not keep the foot stable. I also could feel each rock through the bottom, the souls are not dense enough.

I only have myself to blame for purchasing a nonrefundable shoe. In the past I have been happy with my Merrel shoe's, but I let the price sway me. Bad idea!! I was excited about them & was looking forward to slipping my feet into a comfortable Merrel shoe! When I put them on I was so disappointed because of how uncomfortable they are. Breaking them in is not going well maybe I set my expectations to high because of the comfort of my other Merrel's. Lessoned learned & now I need to buy another pair of shoes.

This is the first time I bought Merrell shoes and will probably be my last. They are stiff and hard as a board. I expected a better quality shoe. Needless to say, I am am disappointed.

I bought these shoes based upon the reviews touting how comfortable they are. I own two pairs of the Vibram series; those are supportive and comfortable for my 5-mile daily walks. But one pair was starting to show some wear and I wanted to replace them. While these are lightweight and have good air ventilation, they are not comfortable at all. My arches ache while walking. I put support insoles inside and they are still hurting my arches. Very disappointing and would not recommend. I gave two stars for style and ventilation.

Merrell shoes for the most part are really comfortable. That's why I always buy Merrell shoes. I just didn't like the looks of these. And I was expecting A more sturdy shoe for trail walking.
I'll keep looking.

Have worn the Siren Sport for years and loved it, but can no longer find it. Tried the Siren Edge Q2 and it does not fit as well. It seems a tad shorter and the arch hits in an awkward location making it uncomfortable for walking or standing for any extended period.

Shoe was lightweight and easy to walk in. Good traction and very comfortable. However, they got wet right through in a slight drizzle which makes them less than ideal in the NE .

I was excited to get these, as they were my first pair of Merrells. Unfortunately, when I put them on, I was disappointed. The left shoe squeaks for some reason, and the topography on the insides feels weird. I'm a little dismayed, as I can't return them since it's been 45 days, but I also spent so much money on a product that's only going to sit in my closet.

I had only purchased Merrills having switched from Keen. This one was a bust. I am sorry I wore it outside before I realized though it fight right it was. The sole is so stiff I thought my nerves down my legs to my feet weren't working right. There is no give in the sole. When I walk it sounds and feels like the shoes are clopping along: toe slap, no roll, toe slap, flop, flop.
I am very disappointed. The shoe is well made and a comfortable cut, but I had to stop wearing them they were so uncomfortable.

Not to my Merrell expectations. I have jungle moc's for work and have had Sirens before but not in years. These look cheap with the vinyl? wrapping around them, but the colors were so nice, I ignored the bad reviews and ordered since on sale. They don't feel very supportive or rugged - definitely a light shoe, although the sole is stiff and would /should be good for plantar (had it years ago). Sending them back. I'll look at a low style Oboz or Solomon. Disappointed. My prior hiking shoes were Merrell, now Oboz.

The shoe was well built but was tight across the top due to the design. It was not the laces that were tight but a vinyl part of the design that did not stretch or have any give at all. The vinyl is just below the shoe laces - between the laces and the toe area. If you look closely at the pictures you can easily see the area I'm stalking about. Too bad they made this so tight because the shoe was unwearable for me!

Shoes are true to size, and fit is good. There was no real breaking in period for wearing the shoes. They are great for traveling as they are very light weight. My only issue is that the shoes have a loud squeak when I walk that is very annoying. I thought it might get better over time, but instead has only gotten worse. While I love the shoes, I find they just sit in my closet because I don't like the annoying squeak. Will probably just donate.

All my Merrells are size 8 but the 8 in this style felt too tight. It felt very lightweight and unsupported. I put in a better insole but then the toe box was too tight. I have average width feet, low volume (skinny), with narrow heels. I considered ordering a size bigger but I did not like the look of them. They looked like they had plastic strips on the side and the black toe part looked odd and pasted on.
