Merrell doesn't have different widths, but they have half sizes, so I always go a half size up and they fit perfectly (i.e. 10.5 instead of my regular 10W). Bought these for sturdy orthopedic support/rehab after a metatarsal fracture. Light weight, airy (great for Summer), flexible sole, removable insole which allows me to insert my leg lift. Pleasantly surprised by "grabby" sole nubs, which helps keep my gait steady during recovery. The Q form support helps tremendously as well. Great shoe - highly recommend!

Yippee Skippee! I ordered 7 different shoes to try and felt like Cinderella when I slipped these on. Plenty of room for my splodgy wide toes (most shoes give me painful calluses on my big and little toes). These are my new favorites. I did a little three mile steep up and down test walk this morning and they're perfectly comfortable. I have a high arch, narrow heels and wide toes. I'm thrilled with the fit of these shoes!

I was surprised at how comfortable these shoes are when you first put them on. That's a BIG plus. I wasn't so thrilled about the plastic looking grey material whirling around the shoe, but I can live with it. So my motto is comfort first.

I wanted to love this shoes, but after wearing a couple hours in the house, my arches ached from lack of support.

I compared the siren edge Q2 and the siren edge in both an 8 and an 8.5. I am normally an 8. I loved both styles. The soles are different, one is rubber, the Q2, and the other, the edge, is Vibram with a different tread pattern. I can’t tell if the new Q2 mid support helps or not without wearing them outside, off pavement. Both models seem very supportive. The 8.5 is only a little larger than the 8 and both felt fine with a thin travel sock or ankle sox. I went with the 8.5 in case my feet swell in the summer. I ended up choosing the siren edge for the grey color which goes with my darker travel pants but the Q2 frost is a lovely color for summer clothes. I’m so happy to be able to buy shoes without a lot of garish colors so I can wear them all day, even into restaurants while traveling!

Because of both the color and the design, these shoes looked and felt great right out of the box. Without taking time to break them in, I wore them as my only pair of shoes on an active 6-day trip to LA. They looked great with jeans and teeshirts for casual and paired well with a shirt and blazer and/or scarf when a dressier look was needed. I'm delighted with them.

This shoe fits like an athletic shoe: squishy sole, minimal arch support & traction, and a wide toe box. If you are looking for the traditional hiker fit purchase the Siren Edge.

Appears Merrill has widened the last on this ever changing model. Originally purchased over 5 years ago because of the right fit ( at least 3 pair since), had to return this edition because it was just too wide

I owned the previous version of this show and it was wonderful. Sadly they changed the toe box on the new style and it is too wide and has a more masculine look.
