Love the look and feel of the slide, but way too narrow for my foot. Couldn't get my foot into the slide.

Sorry that the upper part of shoe was not made of suede material

Very disappointed in these Merrells. I've been enjoying Merrells for decades and loved there lined slippers. These did not stay on my foot when I walked they slipped off my heal. The top does not go as far back as the previous ones. They also are narrower.

I actually thought I had purchased the wrong shoe this poor quality ill fitting thing on my foot couldn't be the Merrell I know to rely on, but when I read the box yes indeed it was a Merrell shoe. I did like the cute design but weren't that cute in person, the depth of the shoe was so shallow that I don't know how it could possibly stay on your foot. if your looking for a similar look would recommend the Merrell encore q2 ice clog which I should of reordered instead. Would not recommend at all very dissapointed.

I'm glad (for me) that they run on the narrow side since I wear a 9AAA. Otherwise, I despise the "rubbery synthetic" overpowering smell, the lack of support, the cheap-looking fake "sheepskin" lining, and the low sides. I bought them to walk my dogs & to go out to the mailbox...but I didn't anticipate being bitten by a Copperhead, due to the low sides of them. While I'm extremely grateful that my dogs weren't bitten by the Copperhead, I wasn't expecting this, at all. Who would, while walking down a clean paved driveway?? So, they're going to be relegated to the "slipper" (indoor shoes) category, once the swelling goes down. I guess that I'll have to go back to my Frye boots when I go outside.

I really wanted to like these - the style is super cute & I love the shearling on the shoe, but that’s the extent of my love for these clogs. Unfortunately, these shoes did not fit & were not comfortable at all, which surprised me given that they are Merrells. The lip on the back of the shoe did not hold my foot on (even though these were very snug without socks on), and it ended up on the bottom of my heal when I tried to walk - terribly uncomfortable from the get-go. They also didn’t provide good arch support - I have plantar fasciitis & need good arch support. I will stick with Borne - I’ve always had fantastic experiences with Borne shoes & don’t know why I even bothered to try a different brand. Back they go - neeeexxxxxttt! I’m coming back to you Borne - sorry you had to temporarily see me with Merrell, but I promise I was thinking of you the whole time! =P

I take a7.5 and after reading the reviews I ordered a true size. It was so small and I returned it. I ordered a half size up and I just got that to find it is also too small. I am debating getting a full size up because I really want to try this shoe, but I'm afraid it will be too small as well.. So not sure.

Crap quality compared to previous versions. Felt cheap and lacked sturdiness.

The quality of these shoes has declined. The arch support is half what it was. The insole is now polyester blended with wool. Bad imitation of the previous year’s shoe. It looks almost the same on the outside. The materials and build are cheaper. Looking for a pure wool insole with arch support to make these fit better.

Poor quality compared to previous 2 pairs of Encore Ice—will not purchase again.

I have been wearing Merrells now for about 18 years, Have enjoyed each pair (MANY) immensely! However, I have found that currently the shoes have been manufactured narrower and less comfortable than previously. Difficult to find a perfect fit.

Over the past several years, I purchased many Merrell Encore Chill/Ice. The name has evolved, as has the shoe. The earliest variety had a beautiful suede outer shell and a warm lambs wool interior. Sadly, the shoe keeps getting cheaper and cheaper! The exterior does not look like suede, the interior is synthetic, poor quality, and thin. It serves my purpose of going to and from yoga classes in winter...easy to slip on and off; however, it is the last pair I will purchase. The poor quality will make me steer away from Merrell in the future.

Wanted these shoes to fit but they were not comfortable on my feet. Arch was too high. Have other Merrill encore shoes that fit great These did not.

I ended up exchanging for a half size larger than my former Merrells. Still not right, I sent them back. Not up to Merrill’s former standards.

I agree with other negative reviewers. . .these feel weird and cheap. DO NOT LIKE the polyester fur - I too thought it was sheepskin. I'd return them in a heartbeat if I could. I was desperate for some slip on to wear to the store and so on, so I bought them because they're merrills and I thought they'd be good quality. but they're not. I first bought, and returned the black ones - wish I'd kept the black. these are an ugly liverish purple brown. they will not stay long in my life, I'm afraid. next time, I'll slow down and shop more carefully. grrrrrr.

Yuck. They say they're Merrell, but I don't think they are...so cheap that I really didn't even finish putting the first one on. If these really are Merrell, then I am going to have to find another brand.
