I bought a Size 11 for my 17 year old daughter, who normally wears a 10.5 in sneakers (with socks), but these boots were too small, so I had to return them. I was able to return them at a local Columbia Outlet store, so I didn't have to pay return shipping, so that was nice. She didn't really like the style anyway (too much like a man's boot). But if you like the style, be sure to order at least one size up!

I bought these a couple years ago and had the same experience as one of the other reviewers. They were wonderful at first, very comfortable, warm, waterproof. Put them away during the summer and used sparsely with warmer winters. Pulled them out a couple weeks back to use them and the rubber in the sides cracked and fell off.

Not waterproof above toe box originally thought the snow was getting in above the boot but went to the car wash and feet are soaked

Yes they're 10 years old. Worn less than 20 times as evidenced by the sole. Took them out of the box and they started shedding chunks. Bought them for a trip to Alaska and loved them. Kept my feet toasty warm. Was looking to buy a new pair but the reviews are scaring me off. Anyone else have these issues?

The Bugaboots are comfortable, keep your feet warm, and look cute, too. Unfortunately, the plastic portion fell apart in chunks after only my 2nd trip wearing them. I do not visit cold weather often, so 7 years lapsed between the 1st and 2nd use. It's a huge shame that these are basically single use boots and will need to be thrown away. If you plan to use these boots a lot, then you will probably be fine because the plastic will fall apart at the same rate as the rest of the boot. But if you are like me and only visit the snow every few years, then definitely avoid these!!!

Had these boots for quite a few years but only worn them a handful of times due to really light winters here. Wore them thing last weekend and the completely feel apart. Complete trash now, very disappointed.

They look good but i already need them so i have to wear them even tho they were big

I purchased this boot awhile back, specifically because it was listed as waterproof. The boot repeatedly leaks around the laces. Since it is out of warranty, no one will assist with manufacturer defect.

"0" Stars! After this excessive snowfall last night, I went out to shovel between 8" to 2 feet of snow in my driveway. After 40 minutes, I felt "clapping" on my heel. Looked at my feet, the sole was falling off and the boots were cracking all over and filled with snow. Thankful to be home, I came inside and as the boots got warmer they just fell apart and cracked pieces just shed everywhere. I've worn these Columbia boots maybe three times and they were stored in the originally box on the shelf in a closet. I would add a photo/video if I could DON NOT BUY COLUMBIA BOOTS.
