Please don't ever discontinue these shoes! These are amazing! I love to hike and be in nature and these allow me to do everything I need to (climb on rocks, walk through streams) with great comfort! They look amazing and feel great! I no longer have any desire to buy huge bulky hiking boots! My only recommendation is that these (stay the same and never get discontinued) also be made with a thicker sole since you are able to feel most everything below your feet. Overall a great hiking shoe!

Premire randonne avec ces chaussures et elles remplissent pleinement mes attentes. Elles sont lgres, confortables et tiennent bien la cheville. De plus elles sont vraiment trs sympa esthtiquement et sont beaucoup plus fines que les habituelles grosses chaussures de randonnes, ce qui ne gche rien! Je n'ai pas test leur impermabilit, ce sera fait cet t au Costa Rica!

Bought these bad boys about a month ago before a move up to Washington, knowing I'd be hiking often in wet weather. Took them up and around Mt. Baker straight out of the box and they killed it. Passed through streams, waterfalls, snow fields, and my feet remained dry the entire time. Also, these boots feel like tennies and I'm stoked on them. I ran down the last few miles and they were light, stable, and did their job well. The run a BIT big, but are true to width. Also, I added inserts, so I am not 100% sure how the normal fit is with their insole. As far as durability, I am interested to see how these hold up over time.

No need for breaking these hikers in. Heading to CA National Parks and these boots will meet expectations!

I have taken these in inclimate weather yet but have some trail shoes and love them. These are lightweight and comfortable.

I am an occasional, mostly weekend hiker who usually sticks to moderate difficulty trails. These "boots" fit the bill perfectly! I have a pair of winter hiking boots from LLBean that are polartec insulated and work wonderfully, and I was looking for something lighter for warm weather hiking. These are lightweight, breathable and waterproof, and look great, too! Feel more like sneakers, but I like the extra height for ankle protection. Have already worn them in both wet/muddy and dry conditions, and they had great grip both on soil and rocks. Can't wait to lace them up and get back outside again!

From the reviews, it wasn't at all clear what size to order for my scrawny, narrow, low-volume foot. I'd been told I needed waterproof boots for an upcoming trip and didn't want to walk (not hike) all day in something that didn't breathe. And then these showed up on your daily markdown. Length runs true to LLBean size (I sent the larger ones back). Width that others complained of as being too narrow is generous for my feet. So much so that I slipped in an extra pair of insoles from another pair of sneakers to take up some room. Wear with medium weight wool socks (with room to spare for thicker ones, or 2 pr). Very comfy. No break-in required. Pretty shades of dark blue. Only negative is that the tongue is a bit fussy: it doesnt lay flat or smooth so I have to retie the boots after wearing for a bit. No idea if they actually keep feet dry as the weather was perfect. Will revise this report when that can be tested.

These hiking boots are very light and attractive looking. I wore then three times so far when I went for short hikes. The first time I noticed that my feet were too warm and so I switched to a lighter sock and they felt better. My feet did get tired on the hike the first time out but they seemed to be better after the first hike.

I've been wearing these boots often for the past 2 months and they are so wonderfully comfortable. They had basically no break in time and I love how light they are. I walk miles a day and work with horses while wearing them. Unfortunately they are not waterproof, my feet are now getting damp even walking through the fields in the morning with dew. When it rains I'm walking in puddles. Pretty bummed that this didn't work out, I have a hiking trip coming up and am worried about the rainy days. Any suggestions for making them more water resistant?

I have several pairs of Salomon shoes, from snowboarding boots to hiking boots. I purchased these because I needed a waterproof pair of hiking boots for a camping trip. The shoes were true to size and comfortable out of the box, with little to no breaking in. I walked/hiked around 9-13 miles a day over a 4-day period with no blisters or foot pain. I paired these boots with Injinji sock liners and mid-weight socks for the first two days. I realized that I wanted more cushioning in the heel, so wore a thicker/plusher Thorlo hiking sock on the last 2 days. These boots performed well across all terrain, including some rock scrambling.

Love them! The fit is great and they are super light weight. My only issue is they are NOT waterproof my feet always get wet.

I bought these in November, they are thinner then my pair in replacing them with but are super comfortable and light! The material is thin which concerns me on how looking they will hold up but for now they're amazing!

Bought this a month ago and great first impression. Ankle support is great, don't feel the rocks on the trails, great traction, very comfortable.
