These boots feel like sneakerswith support. I love them! Wore them for first time yesterday on 3+ mile hike and I didn't know I had them on! I bought them for a hiking trip in May in Scotland, where we're likely to need waterproof boots. I trust they are waterproof. I KNOW they are comfortable!

Love the boot but they do run narrow. Ordered a 7 but had to size up to 7.5. Very comfortable, wore them immediately without needing to break in. Great for hiking, walks on beach & snowshoeing! Highly recommend.

These Salomons are great for walking on trails with ice (or as good as walking on ice can get) and on sidewalks, etc.

No breaking in Feels like I'm wearing a slipper with a lot of support!

Great fit right out of the box. I normally wear a size 9 walking show & a size 10 winter boot. Ordered these in a 10 & they fit great. Would definitely recommend them!

Perfectly sized..I'm a 9 in a sneaker..this fits great. No problems in width. Lightweight. Wearing mid weight to heavy weight socks. Went through bogs. Feet stayed cozy and warm. Support fantastic for ankles. Traction great in snow. Love them.

This hiking shoe is a winner! It fits perfect to size, flexible and comfortable. Very light weight feel when walking. Love the color and overall look. Great hiking sneaker!

These boots are very comfortable and much lighter than similar type waterproof boots I bought for dog walking in rain, ice and snow. With recent rain I can tell you they are definitely waterproof

These boots are comfortable from the 1st to the last step of your hike. They're light weight, flexible, great looking and have excellent traction. I bought a half size larger to wear thick hiking socks and the fit is perfect.

I love these boots. I found they were true to size and super comfortable right out of the box. I was being a bit bold, but I tossed them into my carryon bc they arrived the day I left from Maryland to Maine. I am so happy with this purchase. My foot tends to be narrow but I had a bunion removed recently so I need the extra toe room as my foot recovers. I felt so much support, temp control, and dryness. I am not sure how they will do in colder temps because I do not have a ton of room for a warm insert or super thick socks, but I will test them out with some thinner wool socks. I wish they came in black but I do like the sleek look. Some hiking boots are just so very not attractive.

These have become my favorite hiking boots! I have lots of different hiking boots for different terrains and hikes, but I've found these have combined my favorite aspects of all of my other boots in one. Super lightweight, structured heel and sole (I live in a really rocky area), and nice wide toe box. They didn't need any break in period, so I was able to enjoy them right out of the box and they're still doing great month later.

I've been wearing these on all of my hikes and they're also great for running around town during the shoulder season when it's wet and muddy. Great grip, weight, and ankle support. I find them breathable and a standard width.

I wear a 9N shoe. If you are like me and have narrow feet, you know how difficult it is to find shoes that are narrow. These boots are Medium but fit like a narrow shoe! Like other reviewers have stated, they needed no breaking in and were comfortable right out of the box. I've worn them on walking trails and look forward to wearing them on more rugged hiking trails. I'm delighted that LLBean is selling this brand.

A great combo for lighter, faster hiking. No compromises in the traction of the sole, does great in rocky, muddy, and even dry dusty conditions. Somewhat flexible as well when compared to a more traditional hiking sole. Better support from the mid-hight cuff, without being as stiff and restricting as a full height backpacking boot. And a comfy, more running-shoe oriented fit.... you won't feel like you've got a lightweight trainer or racer on, but it's less "boot-like" than many mid-hikers. Plus Gore-Tex for waterproofness, warmth, whatever reasons you choose a Gore-Tex shoe. A good combo that fills the need when this is what you're looking for.

I have taken these out a few times now. They are very light, which is great for long hikes, but still have plenty of support for 7+ miles of hiking. Recently I went out in a couple inches of snow, and these boots kept all the water out. Really nice!

I live in the city of Chicago on the northside right near the lake. My husky loves the cold weather, but sometimes when it snows, because of the population walking around before someone can shovel-it gets icy pretty quickly. These boots are warm and have good traction on ice and snow.

This is the first Salomon shoe that I have owned and I am very pleased I will buy again when the need comes again

I finally used this boot in victoria, bc to do some hiking..there's puddles, mud, it rained but my feet didnt get wet. Comfy all the way. We did bushwacking. Not painful on dling descent. Overall didnt disappoint me. il be using this nxt week for some icewalking..;)

I have worn these on two easy hikes (about 6 miles each) and they have been great. Very comfortable and held up walking on trails with a little bit of snow - my feet stayed completely dry and I felt like I had good traction on the slippery parts of the trails. The shoes didn't seem narrow, as I read from other reviews. I also ordered the same size I typically order for my walking/running shoes. I would definitely recommend!
