This was my first Salomon and I absolutely loved them however I took them on a three month road trip and a good old fashion float down the Grand Canyon and they were shot afterwards. I didn't take it personally but I really only really got 4 good months out of them and wish I could have had more!

Comfy shoes, they have a good amount of cushion. I'm always a fan of the speed laces. I get that they have extra rubber armor on the outer toe, but it wrinkles in a way that bothers my toes.

i normally wear size 7 in salomon but these felt more like a 7.5-8 size

I thought I had found the best trail shoe ever for my foot. Comfortable for long distance. After 300 miles the upper started to break down. A lot of miles above tree line on rough terrain. Great shoes but thought they would last longer if.

Neben zahlreichen andern Modelln habe ich mir den ULTRA/PRO mal zugelegt. Laufkomfort ist gut, Sohle griffig, die Schrung besser als bei anderen Modellen. Fr mein Laufgefhl ist der Schuh jedoch etwas "steifer" als andere Modelle.

Bonnes chaussures mais s usent trs rapidement c est dommage pour le prix

Sehr stabiler Schuh nehme ihn auch zum Wandern mit Kraxe (18kg)

Une bonne rfrence pour l'ultra avec un trs bon maintien latral, bon confort et amortie.

Pretty happy with this shoe so far through about 35 miles. The grip is pretty excellent, and the sole is sturdy enough to prevent too much discomfort over rocks and other hard terrain. Only slight downside is the lacing system loosens a bit on it's own after running up/downhills for several miles that requires me to adjust and retighten the laces. Haven't had this problem with other Salomon's that I've owned.

Trs bonne chaussure de trail, confortable, tres bon fit, bonne taille, bonne accroche,bon amorti, bon ressenti terrain, protection, prcision, agrables....,mais durabilit du mesh revoir, car dchir 600km alors que la semelle est encore parfaite....,mes prcdentes slab sens ultra sont montes 750 km sans dommage.

Por supuesto no son S-lab Ultra. Un peldao mas abajo, pero sin renunciar la calidad. Buena sujecin y estabilidad en terrenos compactos y rotos. Mis primeras sensaciones son positivas. Tengo el pie bastante ancho, pero son muy cmodas y no aprietan los dedos. EndoFit sujeta muy bien el antepie y tobillo. Algo menos de agarre que las S-lab, mas rgidas y mas voluminosas tanquetas que las S-lab. La transpirabilidad en clima clido del mediterrneo es algo insuficiente y es quizs el punto mas debil de esta zapatilla.

I bought these shoes and a pair of Inoveight terra ultras around the same. Wanted to check out them out. All in all pretty much same performance. That said I usually wear Inoveight same am more used to them. The Ultrapros nice and comfortable on longer trail runs. The lacing system is great On rougher trails the uppers were a little stiff for my liking so felt like you were working against the ground. Personal preference though shoes are pretty goid. Am used to more grip but these aren't designed for muddy trails etc overall when comparing both types have been using them equally. Will be interesting to see how they go in an Ultra trail race.

vielleicht etwas besser fr lngere trail-bzw. hnliche Strecken geeignet - der Supercross sitzt allerdings wie eine zweite Haut um den Fuss

Usata unicamente su sentieri alpini si comporta benissimo, scivolosa su rocce bagnate, stabile ed affidabile su tutti gli altri terreni

Have almost 100 miles on these and would say they are pretty cool looking! They do however run bigger, as others have mentioned. The insole is the same size as my other Salo's, but they do feel roomier. Also, for some reason, they Quicklace system has been loosing up on me during runs. Have never had a problem with this on my other shoes, and not sure if it it because of the way they go into the hidden pouch from the top instead of bottom, or if I just have a defective lace. Will keep playing with them for many miles to come.
