I am on my 8th pair of Ultra Pros. I am an ultra runner, so a I put in a lot of miles. I just completed a 50K race in this shoe, and it felt great! It has a lot underfoot, an aggressive tread and a I love the lace locking feature. It keeps your foot as snug as you want it to. It's also nice to have the ability to tuck the laces in the pocket that on the tongue. It keeps the laces out of the way.

I'm so glad i got this pair of Salomon. Had a 10 day biz trip and this is the only shoes I took. Walking to work meeting clients and running afterwards even managed to be in the rain without getting my socks wet and i didn't get the gore-Tex ver.

I bought this shoe about a year ago to race a 50 miler. Since then I have bought two more pairs. They are lightweight and responsive on the trail, hugging your feet. I haven't tried the s/lab ultras but have heard from others they run narrow. I have wider feet and these ultra pros fit well. The only downside is after about 300 miles of heavy use they seem to tear along the inside where my toe knuckle is. Other than that a great shoe to to train for and race in.

Outstanding product. Great for longer runs and provides great support. I've been struggling with ankle problems for a while and this shoe has enough support that I feel confident on rough alpine trails. The shoe has a nice comfortable insole and sturdy bottom that helps you avoid pain when landing on a root or rock wrong. Great product. Would buy again.

I tried these on once and ran a 50 mile race in them directly following that day. My feet get amazing the entire race and I barely felt pain after. Since then, they are just the ones I trust and can't imagine anything else on my feet for that distance

The Ultra Pros are my go-to for distance training. They have the perfect under foot protection, breathable, and the Salomon lacing system keeps my foot locked in. I have every color and love them all.

I've a larger than normal runner (195lbs) and these shoes feel great every stride even under my weight. I don't run untlras but I wanted something to support my larger running frame and these have been great. I love the laces and the lace garage. So nice never having to stop and re-tie my shoes during a run.

Have been wearing these shoes for a month or so now and am really enjoying them. They fit a bit on the larger side but have still been comfortable from day one. Wore them for a trail marathon after just a 10km trial and they did really well.
