Loving these boots so far. I have only worn them in the house so far to be sure of the fitment, but I’m happy with them. Very comfortable right out of the box. The leather and upper needs broke in a little bit, but it’s still mostly soft.
It felt true to size, but the width is maybe a touch narrower than I prefer. It still was good enough to keep them.

Just received the boots and started wearing them. Seem to be comfortable and they are breaking in quickly. They should have put a loop on the back of the boots, as it would have assisted in putting them on and I have found that it is great for putting the laces through them to keep the laces off the floor and out of the water.

Use them for work they're really comfortable as long as you use cushioned socks.

I bought these one year ago after reading a lot of revieuws. I love them very much. The best shoe I have and they are very comfortable. The only thing is that I get wet feet after an hour of standing in wet grass. I use stuff for protecting, but I still have wet feet. It's a pity because they walk marvellous and They are nice to see. What to do because of the wet feet?????

These boots are my favorite to work in, breathable, waterproof and comfortable. The only downside I would say is that they last me less then a year and have to get new ones.

I wear them every day about 3 hrs in the morning walking large dogs I have and 2 hrs late afternoon when I walk them a second time. Our route is 3 miles twice a day. They are great walking in our area due to the fact Hurricane Michael ripped up our streets. Took most trees and there is so much constant building debris lying in roads and even parks they cut the mustard for uneven surfaces when walking. They are a bit hard to put on because of the waterproof flap being so high up without much flexibility. It would be better to have some stretch in the tongue under the laces, which are also a bit long.
So far we are pleased, let's see how they fare in Northwest Florida Panhandle.

I fished a bass tournament in a pouring rain on January 19th at Lake Wedowee in Alabama. Prior to this event my boots kept my feet warm and dry, even in light rainy weather. However, I've never been in a heavy rain with these boots, until today. I was very disappointed to discover that these boots ARE NOT waterproof when exposed to heavy rainfall. It's tough to have water in your boots, before noon, and be stuck on the lake in cold weather with cold feet for another 5 hours. I've had no problem with these boots and have owned two pair for the past 10 years. I still recommend them, except for use in heavy rain or temperatures below 30 degrees.

I don't know if its my foot, but I always seem to have problems with ankle high boots and hot they conform to my feet. I really love these boots, comfortable, feels like pillows, made well, ankle support. However the left boot crease started cutting into the top of my foot. Not sure if its my fault but i don't think it should be so stiff. Il be returning them. Wish i didn't have to. They look so nice.

New purchase and will not be able to rate durability but expect that the boots will meet the high standards of durability that my previous purchases of shoes from this brand line which appear to be similar but with shorter "tops". However I would much prefer that these boots be available for purchase in a wider range of sizes and widths.

Bought 2 pairs 1 for everyday wear 1 for going out. On day 3 the side design webbing started to unravel now a hole, appears not to hurt the integrity of boot but they do not look good. I travel alot bought these at a store in Los Angeles don't know when I'll get back. Love these kicks I hope 2nd pair doesn't have same issue. Would give 5 star if webbing did not break.

I've been wearing these various style of hiking boots for years for day-to-day use. These are nice shoes but I'm going to have to purchase a second pair one size larger. These gave me quarter sized blisters on both heels right away, something I've never had before with Timberland products. I can't return/exchange them because I tossed the box and receipt right away because I was too confident that these would be ok. Luckily I kept the old pair and have been able to wear them while the blisters heal.

Im a previous owner of the Mt Maddsen boots and I love them at first. Most comfortable boots I've ever used. Unfortunately the quality of the boots wasn't as great, in less than six months water was getting through and the boot was starting to fall apart. So I decided to try the Chocorua 2.0. Beautiful looking boots but extremely uncomfortable. Very tight on the ankles and sides. I'm a 9 wide and this has always been the size I use when I purchase timberland boots. Anyways a little disappointed and sad that this may be the last time I purchase I timberland product .

I have owned three pair of the original Chocorua Trail and loved them. My Son has had two pair and also has nothing but good things to say. I should have stayed with what worked. The Chocorua Trail 2 is too tight in the toe box both in width and hight. I am hopping they will stretch out but so far uncomfortable walks and I still wear my old boots for any serious hiking until these break in - hopefully.

The 2.0 version did not fit my very odd feet.
I will return and reorder the original version which has worked for me very well in the past.

I wore my v1 chocoruas for years before finally springing for a new pair of the 2.0's. Immediately there were loose threads fraying around the front, and the laces would get stuck in the eyelets. I also do not understand the absolutely insane decision to remove the pull loop - seriously why would you do this?? Anyways, exactly two years later and there are holes all around the sides as the leather separates from the sole, the bottoms are worn flat and slip constantly, however admittedly I beat the heck out of these things and put many hundreds of miles on them both day hiking and backpacking, as well as wearing them as my daily shoe, so for the price it's hard to fault them. The fraying threads within the first few weeks is disappointing and the lack of a pull loop is idiotic, however here I am again, buying my third pair because I can't find anything that's as comfy and versatile which doesn't look like something out of a spiderman comic book.

Shoe construction looks fantastic. However I purchased my size and it fits a little snug. Returned and will reorder.
