Kept them for winter to wear with socks. Not the same quality materials or craftsmanship as the old NB slides I wore for years. We'll see if these last the 3-5 years of service I got from the old ones.

New Balance dropped the ball with this design. I've been a devout NB shoe customer for years, but this slip-on style doesn't work. Returning shoe.

The inside rubs uncomfortably against your foot. These will work if you plan to wear socks, but otherwise, too uncomfortable to wear.

strong chemical smell. Wider than normal for New Balance. Also did not care for the raised heel, which is hard; painful if stepped on.

I had recent achilles surgery and was looking for a backless shoe. I thought was the same shoe as I'd purchased years ago....I wear a 12 in all NB shoes now, and could not keep these on.

Felt good on feet but the back heel cup kept folding in under the heel like they were not long enough in size.

Sad, wanted to replace my New Balance CWS473 mule, but can't. These shoes are gigantic. Too long, too wide, too loose. I bought a 12 medium and 11 medium. Too big. I got big, long, medium/wide feet. The support is great, but the shoes are baggy. Will have to return.

So very disappointed in this shoe. Have several New Balance from some years ago, similar style, but so much, much better quality, fit, and support. These are not at all worthy of the New Balance brand. Seem to be poorly made and incorrectly sized. Surprised that some reviews were good. I strong;y disagree!!

I am a 7 wide. I ordered this shoe up a half size in recommendations from other reviewers. The shoe was too big so I returned it for a 7 W. The shoe was too small and was not wide enough. My foot hung off making them uncomfortable. The mesh on top of the shoe was great but it was the shoe platform itself that was not wide enough.

This shoe should be removed from the offerings. Attempting to find a fit is impossible. The shoe is too long and too wide. I assigned two stars because I love the style and hope the NB can produce a better product than this one.

As other reviewers have said, this shoe is not as good as the 990 version. Had I known it would be discontinued, I would have bought 3 or 4 more pairs. It was a perfect slip on sneaker, almost as good as the 990v3 or v4 shoe, but it was great when I needed to get outside in a hurry. To show how good a shoe it was, not a pair can be found anywhere for sale. It was loved by all who wore it, so what does New Balance do? Discontinue it. As others said in their reviews, why mess with a good thing? The 11 fit perfectly in the 990 version, but because of the lower lip in the back and no 11.5 available in this shoe, I am going to have to try the 12 and hope it will work. But this shoe is too wide in the medium width and too short in the 11 size. Very disappointing overall.

I usually love New Balance, but these didn't feel like a true New Balance. No arch support and the sizing was way off. I've sent them back and will keep looking. Thank you Zappos for the fast and efficient customer service!
