With lower extremity and lower back issues a supportive shoe is imperative. It's very supportive and I really appreciate the roomy toe box since I have customized orthotics that I must use. Great shoe!

I have had foot surgery which makes me hard to fit for hikers and running shoes but these 1350s are really terrific! After trading a few emails with NB's wonderful customer service staff and getting great advice, I ordered this pair and ended up trudging through the snow within 3 days. Some reviewers were concerned that perhaps the waterproofing would make their feet too hot but I guarantee that your feet won't be too hot in walking in snow. My husband liked mine so much, I bought him the men's 1350 today--they do look sharp.

My second pair of these awesome NB! They are perfect for everyday, but exceptional while traveling. Just feels like walking on air. Thank you NB!

Love these shoes. Great for walking the dog in the rain. Light -weight and grippy sole.

The first pair that I bought was great. When I received the black pair the fit was different. The black pair ran smaller and the foam was not as soft. The laces were also a lot shorter.

Glad I stepped up and purchased these quality shoes. We do a lot of walking/hiking and these have improved that experience and provided the support I needed to avoid foot pain. Thanks.

Shoes is sturdy enough to use but may be heavy if once becomes tired of walking or hiking. Shoelaces are bothersome as it keeps on slipping from a knot. Comfortable enough for the extra wide size that I bought. Can repel moderate raindrops.

I had to return. I'm going to try an entire size down due to the shoe being very wide compared to other NB trail running focused softer shoes (always buy size 6 and lace tight, I may need a full size down since the laces are thicker and the shoe if too stiff to lace tight.) The reviews all said this was a narrow and small fitting shoe. For me that simply was not the case. It may just be too wide for my foot and I may have to go with another style.

They're pretty stiff but otherwise fit me well and I have a hard foot to fit: 5 1/2 wide. I like the sole and they did well on a very rocky trail today.

Nice support and good looking Wish there was something between standard and wide

I picked these because I was looking for something waterproof. They are much heavier and more hiking boot like than sneaker like but are comfortable. My biggest pet peeve is the round shoe laces. Those suckers never stay tied. You can double knot them and it will work awhile longer, but inevitably will work it's way loose. Other than that, they are comfortable enough, although heavier than I would have preferred. I normally wear a 9, but my last New Balance were 9 1/2 so that's what I ordered and they fit well. I love New Balance because they carry wide sizes.
