NB 990s no longer available, so I got these instead

Met and exceeded my expectations. Use for walking and biking. A little higher design supports my weaker ankles.

I love every aspect of my 1450's. The shoe is as firm and supportive as a larger heavier boot. It has a great style, ample toe room, bounce in the step, and excellent grip by the tread. I can wear them the entire day and look forward to putting them on again tomorrow. Great shoe, New Balance. Wish it hadn't taken me so long to find the best hiking shoe. The 1450's are the trail's end for me!

I use these shoes for work and just walking around. They are comfortable in them all day with no problems

Was looking for a shoe with support and I found it these provide a lot of support and are comfortable. Will buy again in different color.

When all the outlets and retailers said no not ever for this shoe in brown, New Balance,com said yes. In an extrawide 1/2 size. Just how good is that ? It's so good it's BAAAAD.

I have been buying NB for years because my feet width. NB is the only shoe that fits well. Not all NB feel as comfortable as an old pair of shoes but when I put these on it was very close. They still take a little time to break in but I find them to have very good arch support and great comfort for new shoes. I will use them for hiking this summer and I expect no problems.

I love to walk in rain and snowy conditions and these shoes are a perfect match for my needs

he works in a warehouse and they feel more comfortable than any other brand. The floors in the warehouse does not effect his legs when he wears NB

After purchasing many New Balance Products over many years, I am again totally satisfied with another excellent product from an excellent company (I'm really not a robot :) )

Spent the day in the woods, comfortable, supportive, and great tread.

When there's snow on the ground, i wear boots in winter but when there's not, sneakers are just not comfortable in Winter. These shoes are perfect for standard east coast weather where its cold and normally not snow covered. Made great and very comfortable and secure feeling. Saw that they ran small so increased by 1/2 size and perfect fit with thick socks which is what i hoped for.

I wear a size 16 and most shoes are either to tight or to wide, this shoe was a great fit. The look very nice in black. I will order another pair.

Walking. It gives balance and comfort. Like the look of the shoes too

This is my everyday shoe! Looks like a "hiking shoe" but comfortable like a tennis shoe.

Fits perfect. Great support. Only drawback are the shoelaces! They are terrible. Will not stay tied. Replacing them asap.

Bought these for work. Comfortable and keeps my feet dry

I use these shoes for work, I have 5000 steps in by 8:15. I average 13,000 steps by 3:30pm. Best shoes ever made!

I got wide feet,,and these are perfect if you have bunions,,,..

I work on my feet all day and also do a lot of walking. This shoe is very supportive, very comfortable and also not bad looking. I got them in all black. But again I definitely got them for the comfort. I've tried wearing various sneakers and other boots, but it's only a certain shoe that I can wear 8+ hours a day and my legs and back not ache. I'm 6'3 and 230. These shoes have me feeling ten years younger.
