I have been hiking on city streets and mountain trails in NB 990 running shoes for several years. I decided to give these a try, in part because half worn out running shoes don't grip too well on steep dirt with loose gravel on it. The fit is just like that of my beloved 990s. The heel strike is different and took a couple weeks to fully adjust to. The extra support feels nice, they are pretty light and I like the knobby soles. I'm sold.

My whole family wears them. The fresh foam is revolutionary to say the least.

For walking/exercise, good fit, good arch, good purchase.

Use for hiking with uneven terrain. I have a bad ankle that will give out when stressed, tases shoes offer it the right protection.

These ran big for me. I wear a 16D mostly. Had to return these for a 15D. Other than that, these are nice. Stylish and comfortable.

Fresh out the box, used it to go hiking. Felt great, no need to break it in. Had no blisters or aching feet. Went on a 12 mi hike and had great grip. Highly recommended. Fits true to size.

I've been wearing NB shoes for several years following my doctor's advice. Been through several pairs of 1300, but decided to try and new look and love the 1450. I especially like this news design.

I like that there are a lot of photos of the items. Easy to filter and purchase. I like the link into AA shopping too. Items fit just like the old worn out ones I have many miles on. Predictability is very good here.

I wear my new sneaker everyday. So comfortable. The size is perfect; no too big; not too small.

I ordered the 11 1/2 4EE. The 2E was out of stock. I put in a Dr. Sholls arch support, still lots of room in the toe box. Great fit.

I wear these daily. This is my 2nd pair. The originals are still going strong - just purchased the black for dressier occasions.

I purchased these to use as a delivery driver (I work for Amazon Prime). They provide protection from the elements and also help with ankle stability. Cushion is great getting in and out of the truck multiple times a day!

The shoe fits great. Some comments stated to go a size up but I stuck with my normal size and I am very happy I did. They also look great!

This shoe was comfortable right out of the box. It looks good and is light and airy. I have only worn the shoes a couple times but so far I love them.

These are indeed waterproof. I wanted to wait until I had worn them for a while before reviewing. We had a warm winter around these parts with very little snow but plenty of rain. I wore these almost exclusively all winter through puddles, etc. and my feet never got wet. They're quite comfortable as well.

Needed a shoe with comfort on rough terrain. The shoe fits perfectly and is very comfortable for all day wear .

Been a New Balance sneaker/running/tennis buyer for 37 years, back when they were really expensive. I've never been disappointed and always a special order at 11-12 EEE. First prescribed by a surgeon after running injury and operation and months of crutches. I made full recovery and always bought NB. Every aspect of construction and fit is perfect if you get the correct size and type.

Bought the shoes after my feet took a beating on a family hike. The next weekend hike my feet were felt great in my new NB hikers.

I was looking for a low cut walking /hiking shoe perfect match. New Balance always fits me well and this is no exception.

Size 9 D and workmanship were spot on. Yes would recommend and buy again.

I wear them from morning til night. They are especially good for my daily 2 mile walks on uneven terrain.
