The sizing of this pant is absurd. I have an identical pair in black size medium that fits perfect. Ordered the size medium in this color and can't even get into them. And yet I have to pay for return shipping. I like Columbia clothing because of the quality. But I will no longer buy ANY of their products online if I can't even trust consistent sizing in the same product in a different color

I have 3 pairs from 2020 in black I've been wearing nonstop. Just got another pair in maroon this year and they are not the same quality: the cut is baggy around the hips and too tight around the ankles. Also, the quality of the stitching is very low with threads coming out and seams coming apart.

I have some soft shell omni pants I wanted to replace and these are the closest replacement I could find. Got my normal size and it fit well except the waist was so high above my belly button I couldn't stand it! Back for return. Wish they still made the lined Saturday Trail pant with Omni .

I really want to wear these pants, the cut and fabric and purple color would be so awesome if the pants weren't two sizes too small. I have several pairs of Columbia pants in size XL That fit perfectly, in fact the pointe ankle pants in the same order fit very well in the same size. It does say they are active fit but the nice thick fabric does not stretch very much and I couldn't pull them up over my hips. Not even close. So disappointed. If they made them in plus size I would pay more to have a pair that fit. The attached picture is the 2 pants in size XL overlaid for comparison. Columbia what is happening to your quality control? A shirt I ordered this time was defective as well, as though it were sewn inside out. Have loved your clothes so please keep the quality!!

I actually have a pair of these that are 2 years old, I love them, I wanted more, I bought 2 more pairs, exact same size, style number, name. Could barely get them on. Too small, really, my old pair fits great, these, nope, definitely not the same quality from a few years ago. I am returning both pairs. And yes, I did try on both thinking one was just flawed.
