I have a lot of Columbia gear, and bottoms always 8 or Medium. The waist was a bit big but the legs and rear were way too loose. I will try to exchange for small and hope waist isn't too tight (love the pull on, high waist!). I was so surprised given that Columbia is a go to as always fits me, though my legs are on the slim side. Other than that, they are exactly what I was looking for to wear on winter walks. Soft inside, will be warmer than tights and yoga pants, but not bulky, and wind and some moisture resistance.

Numerically true to size but a smidge snug. Perfect now, hope I don’t shrink them!

I purchased these from Columbia Store originally and loved them, however Columbia hasn't stocked them after my purchase, so I found them on Zappos.com and got them a decent price. I love these pants, they are so comfortable and warm and wanted another pair, so I have an extra for when one is in the wash, I can wear the other when I'm outside walking around for a while. I highly recommend them!!

I work outdoors in the Idaho winters daily running camp programs etc. I love these pants. I am 5'2" athletic and the medium, short is the perfect length and fit. I am usually a size 6-8. i was dissapointed to see that these were no longer available. I was going o buy several more pairs!

I love these pants. They are comfortable and slimming. Very warm and perfect for winter hiking in WNY. Why only one color? I would buy more if there were more colors available.

These pants are great. Very functional and comfortable. What I like the most about them is the cell phone pocket that has a zipper.

I tried a bunch of pants designed to be outside and provide warmth, and these were the winner. They are a tighter/slimmer fit, fabric is thick, cozy interior. I ordered the M and I am 5'6, 150lbs and they fit great.

I found this pant last winter and it immediately became my go-to choice for most of my public appearances. The styling, heft of the fabric, and fit make the pant dressy enough to wear for occasions where jeans are too casual. When the pant became available again recently, I snatched up a second pair!

Super comfortable pants, fabric and quality are great. Stretch softshell works its magic making every move the way you want it. Kept me warm all day outside in 20 - 30F degrees weather. Pants look very stylish and fancy. I wanted to buy one more pair but they were sold out! :(((((

I absolutely love these pants! They are so warm and comfortable. I am an XL and they run true to size, no issues at all. I've washed and dried them and they come out fine after being laundered. I will be buying another pair and highly recommend!!!

These pants are amazing! They seem fairly water resistant on the outside, yet soft and somewhat insulated on the inside. Though I think they run small compared to other Columbia pants, when you find the right size, they fit amazingly well. I will be using these all the time for our outdoor activities, especially for outdoor videography work when I don't want to get out the ski pants.

I'm 5'6", 155#, got medium in black. Perfect fit, maybe just a tad long (less than an inch). Very warm, yet, not bulky. Perfect for cold-weather dog walking.

Warm and fit well. Probably a little tighter in the leg then I like. Not crazy about the seam down the front but they keep me warm on my daily walk.

Love these pants, they fit welll and are very comfortable, the only thing I didn't really like was the color I thought they were going to be a darker shade than they are. They are perfect for outdoors keep the wind and cold out

I bought these for golf and other outdoor activities to keep warm.PERFECT. A have nice look-more dressy than a standard "rain pant". The biggest draw back is the waist is small. The one zippered leg pocket will accomodate my cell phone. I bought the nocturnal blue color and other garments of the same color and brand coordinate.

Very comfortable and would help keep warm when it's cold, possibly eliminating the need for a base layer. However, the only picket is on the thigh. I wish these had real pockets to keep hands warm. I wear a size 16 pant, and the XL fit perfectly.

Cute but short! I have a 32" waist (very high-waisted) and 40" hips and surprisingly, a Medium fit great. On the snug side, but I like a "legging"-type fit. But they only skim the top of your foot. I'm 5'5" and would like them to be at least an inch longer to go over hiking boots. I like the fabric--it's a single layer with a fleeced back, unlike many other cold weather pants that have two-layers--stretchy water resistant top and second stretch fleece underlayer. This single layer looks more sleek. Not sure whether to keep them due to the short length. I wear an average length in most pants so I'm not sure why these are "coming up short," so to speak.

I am a 230lb woman with 50in hips and 44in waist. I carry a lot of my weight on my middle and butt. I dont have large thighs but normal sized. I love these pants but they are pretty baggy from the thigh down. I checked the size guide nad the xxl said it was up to 41 in waist so i anticipated them to be tighter. since they are so loose in the leg i would be worried these would fall off of me if i lost any weight at all in the waist. they are made to be quality and warm. They feel more like a softshell material than legging material. so more durable for hiking etc.

The quality of the pants are great, I got a L because it was my first pair of pants from here and I wanted a relaxed fit. I wish I went with a M because it is very relaxed. I am 5'7" and the legs are long on me so I need to roll it to keep it from touching the ground. Also there is no way to tighten the waistband which in my opinion is a huge flaw since I could easily keep it from sliding down if only I could tighten it. If it had a drawstring i would order it again.

Good solid pair of winter pants for walking, hiking, snowshoeing. My only concerns are that they pull on like leggings and I wish they had a small waist zipper so that they won't get stretched out & even short ankle zippers to flare lightly over boots instead of always tucked in. Also it would have been great if they ran in petite sizing as I'm just under 5'2 and have to roll them up 2 inches, That said, they are easy to move in and well-priced for their purpose.
