Fits well, reliable consistent product - I've been wearing these for years.

Fits true to size. Fabric is comfortable and very flexible to wear. Glad that I purchased them.

I bought 2 pair of these to wear in the central Texas summer heat. I wanted comfort, good looks, light weight and "cool". I got everything I was looking for and will add more. They are my everyday all around shorts and I don't even hike.

Very well built with a couple of extra nice features including tool loop and zipper front pocket). Comfortable and flexible. Really nice shorts. I would recommend.

These shorts are functional and stylish. Fit as expected and the flex in the leg portion of the shorts ensures comfort when standing, sitting and walking.

True fit

These are some great everyday shorts. I got a couple of different color options and I really enjoy them. They fit well and have some nice stretch to them. liquid also beads on the fabric which is nice if you accidentally spill something. The front button is a little weird and can somewhat easily come undone. Overall, these have been a great purchase and I will likely buy a couple more pairs.

Very comfortable and versatile

These are great shorts and so comfortable.

I like the comfort, the fit, the functionality - almost everything about this product. The one thing that keeps me from giving them a ringing endorsement is the snap closure at the waist. In short, it is not a secure closure. They come un-snapped very easily. All I have to do is bend over or sit down. A button closure or a stronger, more secure snap would get a 5 star review.

The fabric has a nice soft fill to it. These are very well made. They could be used to dress up or casual wear.

Nice shorts - however much like blue jeans

Maybe this is only for the pair I received, but the button snap on mine unsnaps way too easy. Overall, the shorts are great, feel great, look great, seem quality. But the snap comes undone. The fit seems right, not too tight. But if I bend down to tie my shoe, the button unsnaps. Maybe I just really need to lose some weight...

Tough, well made, but actually like the regular ROC Flex better.

Like the short but runs a bit large in the waist compared to other shorts of the same size.

Good material and excellent quality. Fits like it should. Be careful when ordering length.

Probably should have seen this coming, but the stretch was a surprise. The shorts feel good and repel water and stains pretty well. The color doesn't look quite how it does on the site, but that's pretty common with buying clothes online. Satisfied overall.

Overall I love these shorts and they're comparable to the other Roc Product line. However, I'm not a fan of the clip in button for the fly I would've preferred they just stuck to any other classic pants and shorts and didn't try to reinvent the button.

Big and roomy - too bulky. Nice quality but was hoping for something more fitting

I have a 33 inch waist (which I measured with a tape measure). The ad for these pants said - runs small, order a smaller size. So, I ordered size 32 waist and the pants are very large on me. The problem is that many people are in denial about their waist size and companies intentionally add several inches to a stated waist size just to make people feel better. It is not just Columbia doing this. The end result is that it is very hard to order pants online.

I like fit of these shorts. The only issue I have is the front snap. They have a tendency to come undone just by moving around. I usually don't wear a belt but a belt is necessary to keep the pants from falling.

Would give 5 stars except that less than one year old and the waistline snap button came off! This is not the durability I expect from the Columbia brand. Liked everything else about these, but having the main button fall off is certainly frustrating.

My husband has been wearing the ultimate roc shorts for work for years. When we went to buy more they're not available so we got this instead. The fabric is a little different, but fine. The problem is that the legs are tighter than the original, so he doesn't have full range of motion in them. They also are only 10" long while the original rocs were 11". I didn't think 1" would make much of a difference but it irritates him because it's above his knee, and he's only 5'10". Planning to return these and search for new shorts.
