I bought a small for an outer layer for cold Montana winter but would be great as XS if you want a tighter fit.

Absolute gem! I wish had bought a couple if more jackets! Mine of the best jackets I have ever had. Warm, light, good looking, water repellent, so practical! I have always been a fan of north face when it comes to jackets specially! I must say this is one if my favs!

Very pleased with this jacket. It is lightweight and very warm for the Minnesota winters! It fits true to size and the color is as pictured. Great jacket!

It's finally cold enough to wear my North Face jacket and I love it. I walked several blocks outside in the 30's and I was not cold at all. The coat is shapely and looks stylish. I received a compliment from a stranger saying she liked my coat today!

I wear this as an outer layer when running errands in town, and as a mid layer when I am doing sedentary activities on a cold day, such as fly fishing, hunting or walking. It is very warm! Stretches so that you can still move around in it. I have lost a few feathers here and there, but I wear it nearly every day. Washes up well.

If you're struggling with a coat to pick this coat is it. It's very stylish, warm, compact so it's perfect to throw in a suitcase. This coat will never go out of style! The only downside for some would be that it is a bit slim. I'm 5'10" 155 with a slim athletic build and a medium fit perfect. If you're worried about it being too small go up one size to be safe and layer.

I love this jacket, I was instantly drawn to the fit & color. Received in the mail yesterday and was quite surprised that the color in the picture is exact and the fit is perfect. I recently returned a different North Face coat as I read so many reviews telling you to size up so I bought an extra large and was not too happy because of the bigger bulky fit. In this coat I bought a large and I love the way it fits, hugs the body perfectly and the color is popping.

I'm 5'6" 120lb and the XS is perfect for a more fitted look. I don't usually wear bulky layers, but if I did I would size up to a S. The navy blue jacket is true to color as pictured on the website. It feels lightweight and easy to move in but warm. It's functional AND cute! I love it!

I purchased this for a outdoor/tubing/ playing with kids/run to town winter jacket. I love how stretchable it is compared to my previous tnf winter jacket 10 years ago!!!
