I'm 6.5 months pregnant and my regular, non-stretch North Face in size Medium won't zip anymore. I'm a M in the non-stretch, so I ordered a Large in this jacket to accommodate my belly. The L is too big all around--shoulders, chest, waist. :( I wish I'd ordered a M in black, which would have been perfect. I'm sending it back and ordering the M (but they only have olive left). LOVE this jacket. Can't wait to get the M! I just hope the olive is as cute and versatile as the black.

Every thing looks great, but no Zippered Pocket along with.

I bought this jacket because it is lighter and a bit shorter than my north face windstopper. It is perfect for the walking in 32* weather.

True to size

I have the Thermoball jacket and I love it, but it is light weight, almost like wearing a sweater. This jacket is perfect for keeping me warm in the CA winters. It is considered a "Warm" jacket but not a "Warmest", rated by NF and I would agree. I won't be able to wear it except a few months in CA, but if I travel it will be perfect. The fabric is matt and not glossy like the Thermoball, and so it makes "swishing noises" when you move your arms. I love the Garnet color, very deep almost a raisin color. NF says it is not waterproof and is not great at blocking wind and I would agree. The fit was great. I am 5'6" and big around my midsection- yes, I got old and out of shape. But this jacket actually gives me some shape. NF fit finder said to order an XL and it was perfect.

The fit is true to size..the coat is thin and light weight but very warm and stylish...great for everyday use.....

Perfect fit. Slight stretch makes it very comfortable. I have tried several brands of down jackets, and this is the best looking and fits the best of any I’ve tried.

I needed a warm jacket I could wear for any occasion - even to work - and this jacket is great. Fits wonderfully and very warm.

I absolutely love this jacket/coat. I need a shoulder replacement so it's uncomfortable to get in and out of clothing. This jacket is so easy to get in and out of! I LOVE the stretchiness of it. It's very lightweight and yet keeps me so warm! I wear it to work everyday and my son's football games. Want another one in another color just because I love it so much.

I am between M-L in this jacket otherwise I'd definitely keep it! It's soft and warm and great TNF quality! Thank you Zappos for being so consistently wonderful in every way!

Great down jacket - very stylish and I can wear it everywhere! I love spending time outdoors especially when the weather is cooler. I tend to get warm quickly and the jacket provides with enough warmth to wear over a t-shirt. For colder weather, there is enough room for long sleeve shirts without feeling too stuffed. I traded this jacket out for another one which was just as good, but on the thinner side. The NorthFace jacket is cushioned and very comfy.....and I can wear it everyday. Colors are great and at first I had ordered the bright blue and although I loved the color decided to go with the dark navy. I would buy this jacket again!!!!! Thank you North Face! Love your products!!

I love this North Face jacket. It fits perfect. its comfortable and warm. I love the length of the sleeves, they are long enough. A lot of jackets don't have long enough sleeves and it leaves an uncomfortable gap near your hands. Wish there were more colors in this one, I would purchase more.

I took this jacket on a short trip to San Francisco with pooring rain on and off. It kept me dry and warm and the fact that it is so incredibly light weight was such a plus. It wears comfortably and l got lots of compliments on its look. Highly recommend this jacket.

So far I've used it for errands and work. But, we've had an early onset of cold weather here, and this jacket has kept me nice and toasty.

My mother loved her early Christmas gift! She states that it fits just right and is very easy to carry around. California doesn't get cold as often so it is important to carry a lightweight jacket around that can keep you warm in the early mornings or late afternoons.

Great fit

I had the old 700 and my husband gave me the new one for my birthday. I love the stretch material and that it is less "puffy" but still warm. I wear this jacket for EVERYTHING!!! It wipes down easily and is just an "Alaskan" style icon.

It keeps me warm and fits very good

I have not used this coat in very cold weather yet. Bought it for 10-40 degrees. Seems very warm But comfortable inside as well. Adjusts to body temp. Says it is 700 down fill. Love the inner pockets. Very stretchy and comfortable.

i use this every morning because of the YELLOW....love the color and i walk before sunrise so need that YELLOW. It's warm and comfortable for my 4 miles in the morning.
