I was looking for a burgundy ballet slipper and thought this would be perfect. I have several other Dansko shoes and ordered the same size (41). I wear a 10W usually in other brands. Dansko shoes normally fit without being "wides". These shoes were so small and narrow that I barely could get my foot in. These Dansko shoes are not consistent in fit with other Dansko styles. Obviously they were returned.

Initially the shoe is really comfortable but after a little while it started rubbing on my pinky toes to the point where I could not walk normal in them. I wanted them to work but sadly I’ll be returning them.

Holy cow these run short. I wear a 9.5, ordered a 10, and could have done with at least a 10.5 if not an 11. My big toe was jammed into the leather. They are well made and they don't gap at the sides. They come up higher than others of this style, and they have a little more heel than a true flat, giving them the potential to be a very comfortable shoe... assuming I can find the magic size.

Beautiful shoes but I feel they're very narrow for the Dansko brand. Width wise I'm a size up from my usual size, but then it's too long length wise. I bought two pairs in case of manufacturing variance but was disappointed with the fit of both. Returned, sad.

The shoes are beautiful. I even like the pale blue color - definitely NOT gray! The inside of the heel is quite wide, too wide--my foot slipped out with every step. Annoying. Too annoying. Sad they didn't work out. Have to return. Why are gray shoes so difficult to find?

quality shoe with excellent arch support. Runs VERY large. feel safe ordering at least a full size smaller!

I wanted these to work, but my toe was jammed at the end of the shoe. All of my Dansko Professionals are 38 which was what I ordered. I could barely get my foot into the shoe. I’ve tried 39 in other shoes but they are so big I fall out. Maybe I should have tried the 39 with these.

Big fan of Dansko and as far as basic black shoe these are a good looking pair of shoes. I really liked the slight wedge for just a little lift. Unfortunately the vamp (upper end of toe box area) hit at an uncomfortable spot across the top of my foot which tends to be super sensitive. Definitely my issue and not the shoe.

I usually love Dansko shoes. Not these though. Heel was really wide and they look like Meme shoes.

I wear a 7.5-8M and ordered the 38, the shoes felt a full size too big in the length and about a half size too big in width. I also didn't really care for the material, it appeared a little chap to me,especially for the price of the shoe. They were comfortable though, but with little arch support.

I have other Danskos that I love, but I just need to remember that I wear them with socks. This style would be worn with stockings at most, and it is just a bit too loose--maybe not actually a half-size larger, but too big, probably because a 38 is considered equal to "7.5-8". I expect that a 37 would be too small. Your mileage may vary, depending on your shoe size and actual foot. The style is attractive and supportive otherwise.

My feet tend to run a bit wider and they fit in width. I would have kept these shoes if the sole of the shoe wasn't so narrow. I didn't feel like they gave me good stability. I'm going on a trip where I'll be walking on cobble stone. I felt like I would probably break my ankle in these.

The shoe seemed to be the right size, but the top edge came right over my bunion creating pain. The shoe did not seem to be wide enough in the toe box.

Looking for a shoe with great support that was appropriate for work but I could also wear walking around town, running errands, schlepping kids, I got this shoe and the Ecco Skyler 45. The Ecco has way more support, was better suited for a biz casual work environment (more polished looking), and had some contemporary detail in the sole that made the look of the shoe more appealing to me. This shoe fit TTS, but wasn’t what I was looking for - went back.

I had tough time finding a size that fit properly. One size was too large, and the other too small. Sadly returned.

I have very a painful bunion on my left foot and a smaller one on my right. My feet are flat and pronate. I wear a size 9 W in Ascics and a 40 in Taos, Dansko & Allegria. I wore Dansko clogs for years at work. These may have been ok after a painful break-in period but I would have ended up with a bunion shaped protrusion in the leather on the left. They have a nice rounded shape, but my little toe was pinching in both shoes. The fabric around the top was cutting in some, giving an unattractive bulge at the top of my feet. The padding in the sole was the most comfortable part, but it made an airy wooshing noise as I walked. I am choosing the Ta-Dah style from Taos for my flat business casual shoe needs :)

Runs Large! I normally wear a 37, but they were too big. I tried a 36, but that ended up being too small. Shame because these seem like perfect flats for me.

Really wanted to like these because I just can't wear regular flats. Unfortunately, these were beyond my years.

Super cute shoes, however, the fit didn’t work for me. I’m 35 and need to wear custom orthotics so I’m always looking for shoes that will accommodate them. I ordered my normal size for Dansko and the orthotics fit fine, but when I tried the shoe on and took a few steps — the back of the shoe slipped right off my heel. The same thing happened went I later tried them with the manufacturer insert. My mom tried them on (her foot is slightly bigger than mine) and she had the same problem — makes me think it’s a design flaw of the shoe and not necessarily the sizing. Too bad I had to return them — they really are a cute, versatile shoe.

I really really wanted these shoes to work. I like the style and arch support. But the 41 was a bit too small, the 42 was way too large. Not an option for me. These feel like really great quality shoes. Disappointed.

I bought these to wear to work. I usually live in my dansko clogs, but I wanted comfortable navy flats to wear with a few skirts or pants when I’m not wearing scrubs. These looked good, but they do not fit the same as my clogs. I wear a 9.5/10 in most shoes, 41 narrow in danskos. I ordered the 41. They were too long and too wide. I had to send them back, I’m not sure if the size 40 will be right but they seemed like they would be super comfortable if the size was correct! The color is also not really navy. It’s much lighter.

Nice material, lift, and color. front came up too high on my foot in a way that felt dowdy. I am a consistent 38 in Dansko clogs but these were substantially bigger - should have ordered down.

slipping in the back, I don't feel steady on my feet. Not enough support for me, needs more arch support.

I love the look of this shoe. It has the perfect style that I was looking for. Unfortunately, it just wasn't comfortable. I was wearing it barefoot. It felt loose and tight at the same time. Wearing it around the house just for brief times, I knew I would not last in it all day at work.
