Very good fit. Perfect for what I was looking for :)

Amazingly comfortable shoes from Dansko. Wore them for first time for full 8-hr shift and had no backaches. Almost feels like walking on well-supported pillow. Decided to purchase two more as it hard to find such comfortable shoes.

I own three pair (in black, taupe and slate) and they are remarkably comfortable! I can wear a pair for eight to ten hours and my feet do not feel cramped or pinched at the end of the day. In my opinion, I am sold on them for style and comfort.

I followed previous reviews and ordered one size down. Fits great and very comfortable. So glad to find a basic flat that has decent support. Not as much support as clogs, but much more supportive than regular flats

I originally got the nubuck but switched to the leather. Then I got the size 41 but eventually sized up to the 42 (I wear a US 11). Thank you, Zappos, for your speedy shipping and returns! I was afraid the nubuck would wear away quickly with my bike pedal cages. I'm sure the leather will eventually too but felt better about durability. As for style, these shoes don't show any "toe cleavage" which is great. They aren't pancake-flat but don't have much of a heel either. The base is study which should help with long walks, although tbd on if the arch support is enough (not that I need much). I think I have a little breaking in to do but these should work well.

As with all my Dansko shoes the heel fits loose but that doesn’t bother me. Definitely recommend these if you are on your feet all day. My new favorite shoe for work.

Fit, size and style are perfect. Shoes I can wear most any time, anywhere. I have another pair in taupe that is equally versatile.

These are super comfortable, but the color was not what I wanted/needed. These are not a true gray color, and would really fit better in the blue family. I will be returning them for the black.

Bought these for my mom and she LOVES them. I tried them on as well. Incredibly comfy. May have to buy some for me as well.

I'm quite happy with these shoes. My feet have some issues (fallen arch, right foot is slightly smaller than left...), but they are proving to be okay for long days of teaching. The arch support not as solid as normal Danskos, but it is still far more support than most shoes of this style. Many reviews said to order a half-size smaller, but that didn't work for me. I ordered my normal 37, and it's much better. You can wear one of the nylon-type hidden socks with these, and that helps if they are a tad big. I'm going to wear them a few more days and see how they do. If it's good, I'll definitely be buying more colors!

These shoes are SUPER COMFY. I am on my feet a lot and I suffer from Plantar Fascitis . I have struggled finding dressy shoes or pumps that were cute and comfortable. These fit the ticket! They feel like slippers, but with arch support. I normally don't like elastic around the edge of my flats, but these feel good. they don't pinch or bother me at all. I have 3 pairs and my eyes on a fourth. The colors are lovely too. Dansko delivers!

I have big feet. Most of the time an 11 m is not quite big enough and an 11 wide is too big. These shoes in a 41 are PERFECT. I got the milled black and the are perfect for work. They go with everything! Dress them up or down. The have an elegant shape to me. I’m 59 and can’t wear pointy shoes because my feet are so big.

I ordered this shoe in two colors. When I put on the gold color I felt like I had worn them for months. They were SO comfortable right out of the box. I also love the look of the gold. It is bright but not gaudy. The support is what I expect from Dansko. I have high arches and these are very supportive. I also ordered the shoe in the blue, and I'm still deciding on that one. The material is a sort of suede rather than a smooth leather, and I'm wondering how it will wear. The blue was also not as comfortable on the first try. It seemed stiffer. The sole of the shoe is the same blue as the upper, and I'm not sure how I feel about that monochromatic look. So my first response is, LOVE the gold and still questioning the blue.

I normally wear a size 38 in the Dansko, but these seam to run big. One size down fit perfectly. Width was fine. Can't comment about arch support as I put custom insoles in these shoes.

Due to a unique problem with my left foot, I have trouble with finding the right shoes. The service was great, but the shoes didn’t work out very well for me because of my problem. Had to return them.

I've been searching for the right flat for nearly a year and finally found the perfect shoe! It fits like a cinderella slipper. It's soft, comfortable, has the perfect height heel. It looks nice with jeans, skirts, or skinny pants. I plan to buy several more colors!!! Highly recommend trying this shoe if you need a pair of flats. You won't be disappointed!

These are very comfortable flats. The arch is not as good as the stapled clog but it still has reasonable support.

These are great. I have been wearing them to clinical rotations in a physician office where I am on my feet the entire day. I might get more colors.

This is my very first pair of Dansko shoes. For the past 2 months I've been having an issue with the back of my heel. I've also been looking for a few months for some ballet shoes that provide some degree of support for all day work wear (I teach and am on my feet). Finally, I've broken both my ankles (always important to have a matched set) so I need a quality shoe that offers more than looks. In my quest I have already tried a pair of Born shoes ($75 wasted and I do love Born typically), a pair of Tieks (I sent them back without wearing for any extended period of time and would only recommend Tieks for 30 somethings or under), and I ordered a pair of Rockports with this pair. These are like ballet clouds. I am so pleased with the support. Additionally, all my pretty clog type shoes that have a chunky heel but also lift to the front I cannot wear right now because of this heel pain. These are prefection, even with the slight difference at the back. I did have to order down a size from 39 to a 38. My regular size has been 8.5 since my last pregnancy. I was surprised since this seems like a full size down. The 39 would probably work for someone who is a 9 regularly. I would suggest that someone who regularly wear a 7.5 would find the 38 much too big.

I've been looking for comfortable, non-granny-looking flats for ages. Amazing how hard it's been, but so very glad for these.

I have worn Dansko for years! For the last couple, they've been making some shoes that don't quite fit right and the sizing is a bit off. That said, these are wonderful, just a size too big.I have worn 38s for 15 years. I would order a half size smaller than what you normally order. I took a 37 easy in these. They are super comfortable and cute and less bulky than a clog for work.

These are great if you need a basic black flat with support. I have a heel spur and need arch support in my shoes. I've found Dansko to be a great option. I wore with leggings and got several compliments. I have several pair of this brand and while they are not inexpensive, I find they are worth the extra dollars. I recommend to friends all the time. I also like that the come in a variety of color options, which I am considering. Your feet will not be sore! The left shoe slipped a little at the back but a piece of moleskin fixed it with no concerns. My problem foot is the right one.

Oh so much yay! As a girl who can only wear supportive shoes, these are perfect. They fit well, are made of sturdy material and make my feet look dainty and cute. I have seriously bad plantar fascitis and have recently broken an ankle on one leg and a heel on the other. I can stand on these all day as a teacher. In the past, I have purchased the Dansko professional shoes and those, while comfortable, felt heavy and clunky. By contrast, these are light and fantastic. I have tried Vionic, which was good for awhile but no longer works for me, Birkenstock - which is ok but not super and Oofos - which are comfy but not very professional looking for work. These Danskos are my favorite.

I love these flats and I have a black pair already and I wanted another black pair, but these shoes were two different blacks...one light ...one darker...so going back for that...Zappos look at the shoes before you send...great shoes!

I ordered these in black and my normal Dansko size 37 fit just fine. These are incredibly comfortable for all day wear. I'm not 80, but I think these shoes are kind of cute - and I'm not the only one that thinks so. My "boring black" pair earned a compliment first time out (from someone who is also not 80). Very tempted to get another pair.
