I have a very narrow foot and these felt almost too narrow on me, but not so much that I felt I had to return them. I would say that if your foot is normal to wide, these will definitely be too narrow. They have ok arch support. They are very cute. Even though laces can be a bit annoying, it allows to adjust the width around the lower calf. I have not yet worn them but they seem like they will do the job for commuting and light walks about town. They don't seem too sturdy for major outdoor activities, but they are lightweight enough for dog walking, shoveling, commuting, etc.

The width is snug. If you plan on using thick socks get a full size larger. It slips on and off very easy. They are light weight and easy do drive with them on. So far, they are warm and dry. I am happy.

I ordered a half size larger than usual, and the boot still felt small. Felt comfortable, just too short.

Definitely order at least a half size up! Like all the Sorel boots this season, these totally run small. I thought these were going to be THE BOOT for which I’ve been searching for years: a completely waterproof, seam-sealed, insulated, easy on, sneaker-like boot for walking the dog in all kinds of weather. They were almost IT, but I found the heel too squishy. When I walked around the house on hardwood floors, my heel sunk so much that my foot was moving up and down in the boot. Decided to go with the Explorer Joan, even though they are not easy-on, and I wish they were taller.

Love that these feel like a tennis shoe but have the function of a full snow boot. The only thing I worry about is snow sneaking in between the tongue and the sides - as the tongue is not connected to the shaft.

The boot is cute and is tall enough for my needs but the fit is much smaller than normal. My toe is crunching against the front and all of my other boots are size 10 but this is the only one that fits so tight. Very uncomfortable to even stand up in more-less walk around in. I'm going to exchange for a size 11 instead.

These are VERY narrow, at the ball of the foot and heel. Had to return, no chance to try them for warmth.

They are super comfy and cute - but I've owned them less than a month and the "R" in the Sorel logo already peeled off. And I have only worn them outside less than 10 times, and not in extreme weather. A bit disappointed as the shoes / brand is not cheap. But, they do keep my toes warm.

Disappointed. It's still a well-made shoe but I've worn Whitneys for years and these are now SHORT. I'm a 9M in a street shoe and always order 9.5 for boots. Even in my thin socks, the upper pressed uncomfortably onto the top of my big toe. I compared the sole to my older pair and it matched however whatever they've done to the upper has sadly made the show no longer an option for me. To go up yet another half size would make the shoe ungainly. I'm so disappointed because it's hard to fine a waterproof snow shoe with a soft sole. I can't wear the traditional hard soles of something like a Joan (I learned the hard way that it's not good for musculoskeletal function). If they fixed the Whitney, I'd come back.

I'm hoping for the best with these boots. They are quite narrow, and there is no way to wear a heavier sock even though I sized up given that they do not come in a Wide width, which I prefer to buy for winter boots. I wore them outside, so I'm keeping them, but in reality if I hadn't worn them out, I would probably return them. Given that they are lace-up boots and the tongue does not overlap very far under the ties, I expect that if you walk in deep snow your feet and legs will likely get wet. It says they are waterproof, but I'm not hopeful. Overall, I think there are better boots for the money.

These boots run very small. I am a size 8 narrow and almost never have to get a larger size. The 8 felt like a 7 so I will be returning these asap to get a larger size. Otherwise I think they will be good. It hasn't snowed yet so it's hard to tell. I hope they are warm enough and don't leak water

I was looking for a boot that would help in these Michigan winters. I bought this is a 10.5, but it's a little too tight. I wouldn't be able to wear thick socks with them or move comfortably. I'm going to return them, but hoping the 11 will be in stock soon. I really like Sorel's, but wish their sizing was more universal throughout. They come up nicely on the calf and are pretty comfortable and warm feeling otherwise.

These boots are very comfortable and I wear them all the time to take walks in the winter. They always have kept my feet dry but if I am outside in 15 degrees (F) or less for more than an hour, my feet get cold. I love them in every other way but I was disappointed that they don't keep my feet warm over several hours.

These boots are warm, a nice height for snow and lace up very easy. The heel cup is a little strange, not sure if i like the boots. Thought they might blister me, but haven't yet. Because of the heel cup, i cannot wear heavy socks in the boots. Hasn't been an issue yet (at 10 F), but would be nice to be able to wear heavy socks. Boots are light.

I was so looking forward to these boots, but when they arrived they were too small and narrow. I read the reviews about running small and I ordered up a size. I would recommend on ordering up 2 sizes due to narrow width.

The boots were cute, but didn't feel as substantial as I wanted- live in the midwest and winters are pretty cold. Also, these were too small and I was wearing thin socks, so wearing wool socks would be impossible.

This boot was stylish and light in weight but I have to send it back. It felt like a sneaker (which is good) but way narrow in the toe area!!! I do not have nor wear wide width shoes but this boot felt very narrow from the top of the laces all the way to the toes. I thought of going up a half size but I'm worried that even that won't accommodate for narrowness in the toe, so I guess the hunt continues...

These boots were very light and easy to put on. Seemed like they would be warm but I didn’t wear them outside. I returned them because they were way too narrow and I have narrow feet. They fit more like tennis shoes/running shoes than boots.

Nice looking. Expected these boots to be more insulated than they are. They don’t seem warm enough so I am returning them. I bought 1/2 size larger, and were still too small.

I have worn Sorel boots for 30 years and always been so happy with them. I have always ordered a size up as they run small. I did the same with this pair but was incredibly surprised to be completlely unable to get my foot into the boot due to the extreme narrowness of this style. I have wide feet but have always fit into Sorels until now. All of their styles are listed as a B width on Zappos but I hope that the less style conscious ones like the Glacier or Snowlion are actually wider, and reviews lead me to believe this is so. If you have a wide foot, forget about the Whitney!

The fit was a bit narrow, especially for a winter boot. Otherwise they felt cozy and would definitely keep your feet warm and cozy.

This boot is lightweight and seems like it would also be very warm. It feels like a sneaker and would be food for city trekking in the cold. However, sizing is not at all what I have come to know from Sorel. For reference I have 5 different Sorel boots, shoes and slippers. All of my other Sorel footwear is size 7. I read the reviews and sized up to 7.5 and they were still way too small. There would be no way to get a medium or heavy sock in the boot, as I was already curling up my toes in the 7.5. I would suggest ordering a full size up.
