These boots are perfect with leggings -- though, they do run small. I am typically a 6.5 med and had to order a 7 med. Very comfortable!! I walked my daughter around on Halloween and my feet felt great.

Super cute, but I ordered a half-size up based on the other reviews and I’m swimming in them, even in winter socks. Returning for a smaller pair.

I got these for Christmas last year, and they are the best boot for a cold winter! They aren't a snow boot-but they will keep your feet dry and warm! I got so many compliments on them. I am thinking of ordering another color in them. We live in ND, so they were wore in snow and wet conditions and cold weather and they did not disappoint. I thought they fit just right-I have a narrow foot and normally wear a 9-9.5 in shoes, I got the 9.5 in these.

Hands-down the most comfortable boot or winter shoe I've ever worn! I teach elementary school and am very picky about the shoes I wear. Even in the winter months they must be comfortable, warm, have support and be at least somewhat attractive. Uggs are nice, but I haven't found any that have the support needed to stand all day. These SOREL boots feel like butter inside and keep my feet toasty but not sweaty! I've worn these inside my drafty classroom and out on the playground and my feet remain toasty but not sweaty all day. The Explorer Joan boots are A-A+MAZING and I love the tan/brown color since it goes with most anything! Thank you SOREL and Zappos! (PS. I have a narrowish foot and usually wear between a 7 1/2 and 8 (reg width) but had to purchase a 9 in these.... SO order at least one size up!

Normally 7.5 or 8, ordered an 8, but way too tight-especially with socks. I ended up with a 9 that fits great, very comfortable! I have never worn a 9 shoe before this. Also, I recommend socks as feet get a little sweaty without. Overall, very happy with this boot and Zappos return process was great!

Great boots , I get many compliments . Bought the grey but they were too small. My mom loved them so she kept them and I got the black in the size up for me. We both adore these. I wear a 9 and got a 10

I bought these for my daughter and she loves them! They kept her feet warm at a hockey game while it's 20 degrees here. And she loves how they look. She says they are also very comfortable

After reading many reviews that advised to order up, I did. I ordered an 8 instead of my normal 7.5 and they feel great. It's a lightweight boot that can really travel in and out comfortably.

A little short for my longer foot, but not bad. They feel safe and comfortable for bad weather.

I normally wear a size 9 in Sorel flat boot and a 9.5 in Sorel wedges. Due to reviews, I ordered a 9.5. They were snugly due to the fuzzy inside but after walking in them, they stretched and molded. I definitely don’t need a full size up, because of stretching. But happy with the 9.5. Super comfy. Super warm. Thanks Sorel for another amazing boot... I’m going back for more colors ????

What a cute pair of boots, love the wool inserts with the leather, have had many compliments on them. I ordered my regular size in these and they fit perfect. I have 4 pair of Sorels, they are my go-to boots!

Love these shoes. A little short in the toe and loose in the heel - I don’t think ordering a half size up will make a difference. Slim socks and time should do the trick. I’m willing to put in the time bc these shoes are solid, sturdy, warm and dry. Worth it!!!

Sized up based on other reviews. I normally wear a 7 - 7.5 and I got these in an 8. I like that they are not super heavy like some of their other winter boots are.

Great color and style. I usually wear an 8 except for when I wear running shoes and then I go up a 1/2 size to an 8 1/2. Based on the reviews, I ordered an 8 1/2 and they fit perfectly with a little room for a thick sock.

Normally wear a 9, ordered a 9.5 and they were too small to wear with socks. But they’re very light, so much easier to put on than my big Sorels.

Great boot as long as you size up by half a size. Even though I am an 8 in other sorel boots, 8 1/2 fit

I love these boots! Warm enough to be winter boots in my Midwestern city, but cute enough to be worn with jeans or leggings when it’s not a complete blizzard.

Cute boots! Not bulky looking or heavy. Haven’t worn them in water or snow yet, but so far they feel great. (My feet are on the wide side.) Glad I read the reviews-definitely size up a full size.

I love these boots! I wear an 8 in anything else but had to size up to an 8.5 for these to be able to wear them with basically any socks and for my feet to have room to move. If you’re wanting to wear thick socks often I would even suggest a full size larger. The fur and lining inside is so comfy and they are super cute! I’ve gotten so many compliments already!

I ordered up a half size as my feet are wide. Even so, the shoes are still too tight. I will return the shoes and order up a full size.

Wear size 8, bought 9 because of previous reviews. I have fat feet. Could I wear a big pair of socks? No, BUT you don't need a big pair of socks? These boots feel like Uggs ... so comfy & so warm. I live in Wisconsin. I wear these boots every morning to walk my dog. Last week it was below zero three times. My feet never came CLOSE to being cold. My feet were as warm as when I got home as to when I left.

I've never been able to wear Sorel's slip-on boots because I have a high instep and arch. I was hoping these lace-up boots would work and they do. They're warm, comfortable, and very cute. I wear a 9.5B in most brands but these fit well in size 10B, even with thickish socks.
