Weird, the last pair of Sorel boots I bought were WAY TOO BIG, and these are WAY TOO SMALL! I feel like Goldilocks, where is my “just right”? Not Sorel apparently.

I wanted these to work. The toe box is too shallow so my toes are being squashed. I tried going up a half size but then it’s too large both width and length with my heel slipping. These aren’t easy to tie snugly either. The boots are very cute but just not a good fit for me. Not much support either.

I usually wear a 6 but based on other reviews I ordered both a 6 and a 6.5. Strangely, the amount of difference between these half sizes was huge. The 6 were too small and the 6.5 were too big! Also, no arch support or contouring inside the shoe. A shame, because they look super cute. Returned.

Based on other reviews, I ordered a half size up to account for the thick socks I wear in the winter. I loved them at first and they fit perfectly with socks. However, after just a few days they stretched out a lot. They look very worn even though I have barely worn them. The Sorel logo also wore off after two days of wearing them. They just look worn out and cheap. I was going to buy another pair in black but have decided not to now. I wish this wasn't the case because they are so cute at first.

I purchased and I'm having to return a size 9.5. I based this on my recent experience with Sorel Explorer Joan when I purchased a size 8.5 then 9 and would have to return for size 9.5. However, these do not run as narrow as the Explorer Joan and have a wider toe box. For those of you like me trying to decide on size by reading reviews: My normal Brook running shoe is 9 and my normal dress shoe is 8.5.
This would be my 2nd pair of Sorels. My first pair I have had, loved and worn for over 12 years. However, these boots have very little support as compared to my other boots and my feet were very sore just wearing them around on tile flooring in my house.

These boots are cute but I realized once I got them they weren't what I was looking for so I sent them back. First, they are a bit shorter than I expected. I was looking for a short boot, something that at least came up over the ankle. These are not much taller than a running shoe.

It felt like there wasn't enough bottom to the shoe. So it felt like I was walking almost directly on the ground which is odd given the rubber bottom. It needs more of an insole. I thought about adding one but the toe box is very flat. Love the idea of them -- but when it's cold and wet you want to feel like you're not walking on the pavement.

As previous reviewers said Sorel's sizing can be tricky. I ordered my usual size 10 and they feel fine expect the design of the shoe makes my foot slide forward feeling as these are too small at times. Not a deal breaker. One thing which surprised me about this shoe, these are not really breathable, my feet sweat in these especially in a toe box (I'm used to wearing Gortex sneakers in colder months, perhaps that's to be expected in this kid of boot). Design wise, cute with anything from jeans to leggings.

I previously left a review. I wanted to add that these shoes are not slip resistant, so when you come in from the rain and you go from pavement to a slippery surface like porcelain or some other type of slippery based flooring, you get not traction. A good shoe that provides that level of coverage is Merrell shoes.

I purchased the silver/gray version, beautiful shoe. The show has a sparkle to it that you cannot see in the pictures. It really is a beautiful shoe. I wear an 8.5, normal arch, wide feet, these fit fine. The problem I have is with the ankle/shin area, it’s stiff and so it digs into your ankles when walking. It’s painful to say the least. They probably have to be broken in but they should find a way to make that less stiff. I literally had to wrap my ankle in that tan fabric wrap that you use for injuries and then wear socks to protect my ankles lol. Terrible. Other than that the shoe is very nice.

I really liked the look of these, and ordered a half size larger based on other reviews. Length was ok but fit was awkward on the foot and uncomfortable. The transition from the toe box to the start of the tongue was way too high and could not be cinched down. The area would hurt my toes if I bent my toes. Such potential to be cute based on photos, but fit was a no go... sent back immediately.
