I am an 8-8.5 with a narrow heel. I ordered an 8.5 as my best guess from what I read in the reviews but my feet swam in them. They are heavy duty and would probably be great in stormy weather but I think they are too heavy a shoe for my SF Bay Area existence.

These seem like very sturdy, rugged, high quality boots. I am impressed. I love that they're waterproof, leather, and have a relatively cushy sole with lots of great tread and traction for ice and snow. They're also pretty stylish--I love the blue accent in the gray pair that make them a little more versatile--like they might pass going out with leggings or jeans and a cute top, while at the same time giving great protection for a rainy or slushy walk or just shoveling off the porch (the lower ankle height and open ankle might let snow in the top, however). As other reviewers noted, they are wider than many women's shoes. I almost always wear a wide size, but these were surprisingly roomy for a medium in the toe box (heel is also pretty wide--maybe a little too wide since they are a bit boxy as a shoe). These mediums *almost* worked for my wide feet, and I almost kept them, but they pinched the outside toe on one foot just a little more than I would like. They could also have much better arch support. Great, functional fall-winter-spring booties, otherwise!

Definitely cute and waterproof. But, they had a bit of a "duck feet" look to them and I was looking for something a bit less casual.

Um, nearly impossible to slip on and off. So disappointed. I thought these would be great to slip on and go, but I had real trouble stuffing my feet into these boots. I tried with all my socks and even with my thinnest socks I really struggled to get these on. Sent them back. Will try some different Keens.

I loved everything about this boot except that it rubbed against the top of my foot due to my high arch. I must return, sadly.

I wanted a simple cute boot for running around, but also a waterproof/insulated boot for walking the dog in the winter on days when big snow boots are overkill. I didn’t think I’d find all this in one pair, but I did! I ordered a half size bigger than I normally wear in Keens as I wanted to be able to wear 2 pairs of socks on really cold days. They are roomy but don’t feel sloppy. Definitely warmer than regular shoes but not bulky. First walk today and they were SO comfortable and had great traction.

Just what I have been looking for. I wanted a short slip on type of boot. This is a very cute boot for that sloppy wintery weather in Wisconsin. I can usually depend on Keen shoes to fit well. I wear a size 9.5 and have a moderately wide foot. Keens toe box is generally nice and wide which makes them a perfect fit. I was hesitant on this boot since there is no zipper to open the top of the boot so you can get your foot in it without problems. My big foot goes in just fine. The boot is a bit large. With a thin sock my foot can easily slide around in it. I plan on wearing thicker socks with these anyway so I'm sure they will be perfect.

These were the runners up in my boot search. They were comfortable and fairly easy to slide into. I didn’t feel they had very good sole lugs for walking in Wisconsin winter muck. Also they didn’t feel as fitted to me an the men’s Anchorage from this same company that I’ve had in the past.

Unfortunately a no go. The removable footbed of this shoe is very deep and cushy at the heel. My own built up orthotics are not as thick so the boot fit poorly, too much space around the heel and it slipped. The front part of the boot was wide enough, but I can't wear them so Zappos kindly took them back, as usual, and promptly processed the return.

They looked like they would be super awesome, if my foot would just fit in them! The inside/arch of the shoe is too narrow, even with the elastic. try as I might, I couldn't get in. I even ordered up a half size. They are also not very insulated. There is a nice cloth lining, but I wouldn't say they are insulated. I am heading to my local store for a pair of classic Extra Tuffs.

I wanted to love these. They just looked like clown shoes on me. Even with bootcut jeans pulled over the top, the toe area still looks like a glorified rain boot. It does feel nice and cushiony inside. I feel they run a half size too small as well. Returned.

These boots were disappointing overall. Not as cute or comfortable as I had hoped.

had high hopes for these but the shape/sizing is very odd. the heel is HUGE & wide and my heel slipped out (even tried 2 different sizes). my regular size 8 was enormous all over and the 7.5 the toe box was too narrow but the heel was still giant. these are also very heavy, so not something i'd want to wear every day if they'd actually fit. oh well... :(

I generally love the fit and comfort of Keen footwear, however this she ran large and loose and generally clunky to wear. Returned the item, but still love Keens.

Hm. This boot should have been adorable. The picture here looks great! But. There's no lining to them, so they won't be warm, and the toe box is very round and large and I felt like I was wearing kid's shoes with rubber bumpers. The ankle is wide, which is perfect for bulky socks, but too wide for my taste. Also, they felt a little bit short. I usually wear a 9.5-10, more often a 10, and these felt short. And I tried them on barefooted. They do look weatherproof and the style is unique! Just not for me.

I'm new to Keen and this is the first pair I've had a chance to try on. The style is definitely something I think someone would wear in snowy conditions or very chilly weather, as these have a nice, soft liner and a suede finish that reminds me of Ugg boots. My toes felt a little squished from the top (not the tip of the shoe, but above my toes!), but I'm sure breaking them in would fix that. As for overall comfort, I was under the impression these would have more cushioning or support from the sole, but others seem to like it just fine.

I really wanted these to work, but they were way too wide for my slightly narrow foot. Cute and well made. Just way too loose and wide for me.

I was looking for a waterproof and insulated winter boot that was easy on/off and not too bulky. In the end, I wasn't pleased with how wide the shaft looked and overall clunkiness of the boot - I wanted it to look a bit more fitted.

Size was good but no arch support. Disappointed as I wanted a pair of pull on boots for winter. Would have had to purchase inserts so I returned them and tried a different pair of Keens. Love Keens just not these.

These were too big for my 10 N foot.

The heel is extremely tight with this shoe, normally I have the opposite problem.

Glorified rain boot. Easy to slip on and off. No traction on slippery sidewalks

These are very wide in the tie and should be called rain boots. They remind me of Bogs.

I returned these because they felt so bulky. They were comfortable and would be great for snow, but they are not at all stylish. A very practical boot that I decided I didn't need.

The heel area on these was too loose/wide so my heel kept sliding up and down as I walked. I tried them on with moderately thick socks. The shoes repeatedly pulled my socks down until they bunched up under my foot. Maybe these would work if you had differently shaped feet and ankles than I do. I’m sending them back.
