the width felt too roomy,

These sneaks are super comfortable. I have small feet (5.5-6) but I still need some width. These fit the bill. The insole is removable so you can put your own in, which I did. However, the shoes are roomy so I left the insole in and was still able to put in my orthotics and they're perfect!

Great shoes as always. Plenty of cushion in the heel.

I always purchase Brooks Ghost or Brooks Glycerine. I have plantar fasciitis in one foot and both of these versions help to control it. The support and comfort are excellent for walking and running. Only complaint - need more options for wide widths.

really like this shoe, from other reviews said order a half size larger so I did and ended up sending them back for my regular size, I wear 8 1/2 and they fit great, I wouldn't want the arch to be any higher, it feels just right. Ordered 2 pairs of this shoe in different colors. So far so good.

I haven't run in {mumble} years, so I had no idea what I was looking for. After some feedback from friends who run and reading reviews, I settled on these. I'm happy with them so far. They feel stable and hold my foot well. I have very slender heels, and I do not feel like I'm sliding out of them. My only concern is that they are fabric uppers, and I've been avoiding that for years since I lead with my big toe when I walk. I'll be interested to see when I work my way through them.

This is my favorite running shoe. I'm on my 4th pair. I run half marathons and wear these for all my training runs and races. I typically get 400 miles on each pair before I start to feel foot pain and aches.

These shoes are the best running shoes I have ever owned. No need to break them in. I opened the box right after it was delivered, put them on and went for a 2 mile run. Love them!!!

This is my 2nd pair of Brooks Ghost 11 sneakers, and I love them. I am a runner, and they are lightweight, yet offer plenty of support.

I wear a 7 1/2 Wide and I found this pair of Ghost 11 to be just as comfortable as the Ghost 9 and Ghost 10 that I have worn up to now. I walk for exercise and cover from 5 to 8 miles a day on wooded trails and gravel roads. I've been wearing this Ghost 11 pair for two weeks now and they are holding up well and have been as comfortable as any walking shoes that I have ever worn. I had bunion surgery a few years ago and these wide fit shoes have a roomy toe box that is kind to my feet. My only criticism (based on the similar Ghost models I have worn) is that the fabric allows dust and beach sand to find their way into the shoe. I wash the sand out with a garden hose as needed and the shoes dry overnight with no ill effects. Also, the fabric over the instep is the first part of the shoe to show wear, after about 1000 miles of trail walking (maybe that's not so bad). I've ordered another pair to keep in reserve.

These shoes are super cute and very comfortable. They are a bit on the wide side but very supportive for road running. The cushioning is great!

I bought these for a trip to Mexico and sooo glad I did! I have purchased Brook Ghosts in the past for running, so I know they are great shoes. These are my go-to everyday shoe for work now that I broke my toe! They are perfect...you won't regret buying them

My feet are wide and my left foot has insertional achilles tendon issues plus a bunion. I have purchased this shoe before in 7.5D and they fit perfectly - so comfortable whether running or walking. I just love a shoe which feels great right out of the box with no break in.

My running friends have been encouraging me to try a pair of Ghosts and that I'll never go back. I usually run in Asics Cumulus about 1/2 size larger than my regular shoe size, so I ordered the same size in the Ghosts. The style, cushioning, etc. feel fantastic, but my feet, which run on the narrow side of regular, are sliding around all over and have lots of room at the tip of the toe. They have been fine for shorter distances under 10 miles, but I'm afraid of getting blisters on longer runs. I love the shoes, but I'm exchanging them for a half size smaller.

I changed from exclusively wearing Saucony to Brooks. The Ghost line is my favorite. I have also worn the Glycerine line. I have bunions so I need a wider toe box. Although the toe box is a little wider on the Saucony, these work fine for me. I found them to be more comfortable and supportive than other brands.

The fit is perfect and with the arch support has made my workouts much more comfortable.
