I cannot believe how painful these shoes were. They fit great and I normally LOVE Brooks. But I got on the treadmill to try them out and my feet and shins hurt immediately. I could barely run 2 miles without pain. There is no give in the sole at all, which causes a ricochet in the foot strike. It goes straight to the shins. It is awful. I'm not sure if I've run in shoes this bad in a long time. Style is okay though.

These shoes were comfortable out of the box and fit well. After wearing them in the house to make sure they fit and felt comfortable I took them for a walk. The way these shoes are shaped the heel slants inward significantly. While this was not uncomfortable when I tried them on, they caused massive blisters on both heels after a 2 mile walk. I have to return these and search for a Brooks model with the more standard upright heel. I have a pair of Levitate that fit great and do not cause this issue.

I used to wear Adrenaline's for years until they changed the design. Then I switched to Glycerin's. However, I wanted to try the Ricochet shoes because they were cheaper. Big mistake. These shoes are so uncomfortable. I tried to walk around my house in them, but they hurt my feet, so I took them off immediately. I've never had that problem with Adrenaline's or Glycerin's. I plan on returning these tomorrow.
