Perfect size for my 3 year old, plenty of room for extra clothes shoes.

I love this backpack. My son is 3 and he uses this for preschool. It's bigger than a typical toddler backpack but it fits all he needs and more. I definitely see him being able to use this in elementary school too. He loved the idea of patches and we added some extra patches on too. Such great quality!

My 5 year old needed a *slightly* bigger backpack for kindergarten. We had been using an 8L pack from Deuter for cycling and carrying water and food, but school needs to fit a bigger lunchbox and a folder. A review said this pack was perfect this is exact purpose, and it is. Only slightly large on my slightly slight kid, he happily wears it and hauls his gear. Fits a larger lunchbox, snack, fleece, water bottle, folder of stuff from school, hand sanitizer spray, spare masks, and a small plush manta ray with room to spare. He selected the black w/ patches design which inspired him to find and add more. We spent a lot of the last year and a half outdoors, and I'm already impressed with the build and features of this bag, and look forward to my kid maybe hauling a little more each time we hit the trail. I like to buy these kinds of things once, and use them until we can't anymore.

Fits perfectly for my kids now that they are on school

Bought this backpack for my 3 year old. I was afraid it would be too big but really it's not bad at all. It's the perfect size and will last a couple years while he grows into it.

Wanted to get my son a backpack to start kindergarten. I wanted something more substantial than the kiddie backpacks that were cute but flimsy. So far he loves it and I think it will hold up well.

I'd been searching for a backpack for my son and was happy to come across this one. It's just the right size for his nature school to hold all his essentials and then some. He loves the unique colors and I'm thrilled it's not a character backpack. Hope to have this for a long time and pass it on to my youngest when he's ready.

My first grader is using this for school and it's a perfect fit for him. His lunch box fits inside and he use the side pouch for his water bottle. He's been getting a few compliments on it as well! I hope they make This style in a larger size for 2nd grade and up .

Perfect for a kindergarten or first grade kid

Great backpack that is perfect for my 1st grader. The exterior colors are bright and the front pocket is perfect for his ball cap. Side mesh holds his water bottle and the inside can fit his lunch as well as school work. Total win!

I bought this for my 6-year-old for school. He loves it and has received compliments. It fits all of his stuff and can definitely grow with him. The straps have a lot of padding and look comfy.
