I use this backpack for every day life. I am a fitness trainer, and do contract creative work on the side. Some days I spend the morning at the gym with clients, head to an office for the afternoon, and return to the gym for evening clients. This backpack holds my training notes and shoes, while also keeping my laptop safe, and still has room for snacks to get me through the day. It's very durable and has pockets in all the right places. It protects my 16" MacBook Pro perfectly, and still leaves plenty of room for my tennis shoes and water bottle. The only downfall I see in this backpack is that it doesn't sit upright. It must be leaning against something or it will fall on its back. While this can be annoying, it is due to the extra padding and protection it offers my MacBook, so I am definitely okay with it. The back section for your laptop (there's still enough room for my laptop to be in its case + be in the backpack) includes extra pockets, which I use to hold notebooks and folders. This leaves more room in the main compartment for other items. I spent weeks searching for the right backpack, and was relieved when I was able to find and purchase this one.

I work overnights in a hospital and use this backpack for food, books, papers everything. It has so much room without being an overwhelming size.

My daughter Uses it for school. She is very fashion conscious but into comfortable style. She picked out the backpack and it has held up well.....very meaningful since she stuffs everything into it....notebooks, lunch, computer, sneakers.....

I bought this backpack for nursing school classes, and it has been great so far! It holds multiple large textbooks, and has plenty of other pockets for everything I need. The largest book pocket is very deep, so you can fit books, notebooks, and other things on top as well. Teal is my favorite color, and complimented with the gray it's stylish and yet not over the top. The two side pockets are much larger than on other bags I've had in the past, so taller coffee cups and water bottles fit very easily. I also like the computer pocket - it is split into two compartments with padding, and so a laptop and a tablet are supported in there nicely. If you are a pre-med, nursing, engineering, or other student who needs lots of room for supplies and heavy books then I highly recommend this bag!

This backpack is everything! I use it everyday for my work commute and holds it all with room to spare! I even used it for travel and it was the perfect carry on. It's roomy and has plenty of pockets. The padded straps make it much more comfortable on my neck and back and I was surprised by just how much it actually holds. I'm also very picky when it comes to style and aesthetic and this ticked all the boxes for me. I would DEFINITELY recommend this bag!

I love this backpack! It is the perfect size for carrying around campus, and can easily hold everything I need for the day. Not to mention it is SUPER durable !

This backpack is so comfortable, even wearing a tank top. The backpacks that have mesh on the shoulder straps and back always rub against my skin. The straps are so comfortable and I can wear it with a tank top and not get a rash. I have taken this backpack hiking, on an airplane, Disney World, etc, it has been wonderful. Plenty of pockets and two cupholders! I would totally recommend.

This backpack is amazing. It has enough space and pockets to fit everything I need for school, and I'm a college student. I love that it has two drink pockets.

Despite the fact that I haven't actually been going to school or leaving my house for that matter, I am very happy with this purchase its so cute I wish I could actually use it. ;)

My daughter chose this backpack for its style and size. In a year where lockers are not permitted, and she has to carry all her class books, binders, laptop, etc. to every class, this backpack has held up wonderfully. She is able to fit all of her school items inside including her laptop inside with ease. I am impressed with the duration and spaciousness. I would definitely purchase again.

I love this backpack! It is very roomy but looks compact. Perfect for traveling with as a personal item or carryon and has a ton of pockets, including two that are soft inside for protection. The laptop sleeve is awesome and you can also fit an extra tablet and paperwork. Compressor straps on the outside that you can use to better hold in water bottles. Lots of padding and comfortable. Really glad I got this.

Purchased this as a graduation gift for my niece. She loves it, most especially for her laptop. Durable and great color selections!

I got this backpack for my freshman year of college that I started 6 months ago, and I love it. Perfect size for my books, laptop, and has two pockets so it can hold my coffee and water at the same time :D

This is a great backpack. I use it for work and it fits my lunch and gym clothes as well as rehearsals, fits scores/books, iPad, rehearsal shoes and more. Some days are longer than others and it still fits everything I need for the day. I commute on a bike and this is a great comfortable option for that even if it rains (light-medium rain. Heavy rain is okay but sometimes the water gets in a bit). I've also made weekend trips with just this backpack. The straps do sometimes need repair even after the modification redesign however, the warrantee and customer service department at North-Face is suburb.
