Purchased these boots about 3 weeks ago, they look great and the materials feel like good quality. The only down size is that it's narrow on the toe area, it's true to its size but I definitely suggest getting a wide size (I got the composite toe boots). Other than the pain it's causing on my toes due to them being narrow they are good boots.

I ordered these boots wide so my toes wouldn't rub on the composite toe. Well they where so narrow it was painfull, wide...I think not. So be aware that wide is actually closer to medium. Otherwise the boot felt awsome and I couks see myself ordering a no toe protection same modle and I am sure it would work.

The boots are too hot, too stiff, and the wide are too narrow. I do like the aggressive look. Wish they worked out. Rocky makes great boots but these were not one of them.

This is my 8th or 9th pair of RAF boots. The exact same boot purchased every time. This pair was purchased in the middle of Dec. 2023, worn everyday since and still won't break in. Still as rigid as the day I took them out of the box. I recently started wearing my worn out RAFs because they don't hurt my feet. What am I doing wrong Rocky?

This I had to return even if I liked the style. It keep on rubbing my shanks and scrapping it. Still looking for the nice comfort boots.

They are hurting my husband's feet and producing corns. I must get him a wide width. Other than that they held true to being waterproof and he does not need to take them off when going through security.

The fit was the right just had a couple weird pressure points on the back of the heel and toe. Zippers were faulty on both boots, struggles to zip them all the way up while they were on my feet. The look very cool but thats about it. Sad I have to return them.

The boot is tight even with it being the sizes plus wide in the order. Anyone buying this trying going half size bigger. It's probably because it's made in China.

Have been looking to buy new water proof safety toe boots for work. Im a LTL truck driver and we are required to have 5 inch or more safety toe boots for job. Already have a pair of rocky boots i bought 8 years ago and use them for casual use not work and they are great. Tried these on at a well known boot store in missouri and they felt pretty good walking around store . Didnt feel any rubbing or problems. Come monday 2 hours into doing my job which i walk alot and bend over it felt like my inside heel about inch up just to right of back of heel was beeing stabbed. Right boot felt great. Couldn't do anything about it i had to work. Took boot off several times wondering what is causing so much pain. The inside didnt feel any different than riight boot. Store wont take them back because they have a policy . If any noticable wear has happened you cant get money back. Everything else about the boots seem really good. When i got home from work my sock was stuck to heel from dried blood. I have a nickel sized wound with no skin and blood and puss now and limp now. My left foot is not shaped any different than right foot. Just disappointed at this point.

I got these boots through my work. When I got them, they fit great. But after walking in them, the left boot started digging into my heel. I ended up with a blister. Right boot is fine, no problems. I want to love these boots, but not at the expense of my feet. What do I need to do to get this fixed.

Boot looked like it was good quality but got it and the Velcro's for the zipper was messed up. Also ordered wide width and it was very narrow. Had to return the boots, which was sad because I heard Rocky was a good brand to have.

I've owned these for about 2 years now, my 6th or 7th pair of Rockys. They look great and meet (most of) the NFPA safety requirements for station boots. However, the waterproofing is too much. They don't breathe at all. Zero. Zip. Zilch. Nada. I'm a firefighter and I have to change my socks halfway through a 12 hour shift, and if I work a 24 then god help me. I got the S2V in black (and added a lace-in zipper) and they're a little better, but not much. I just wish I could wear the style I wore in the Army. Then I'd be happy. Please Rocky, I beg you, make a breathable boot with a steel toe and zipper.

Thought they were to be wide but with the narrow heel they are very tight. Not as comfortable as most rocky boots. Also the the rubber is coming off the front after only two weeks.

The zipper seems to get caught every time I pull them up. This has been an issue since the first time I zipped them up right out of the box.

These are not a precise match of the duty boots I bought but they are very close - I have to assume the one I bought have been discontinued ( I got them about four years ago). The ones I bought are black leather side zipper "Rocky Waterproof" duty boots. My biggest complaints - terrible foot traction in rain or snow. Very slick! Internal lining of both boots have torn above the heel. I wear them when riding my motorcycle, and the leather uppers have absolutely gotten beat to heck - they are covered in nicks and cuts. Weird thing - the laces come untied too easily for my taste. Positives - Rocky Waterproofing is no joke. I've been caught in hellacious rain on the bike several times and my feet are the only dry part of my body. The side zip is very convenient. Overall, I love Rocky Boots; my two other pairs have lasted a combined 15+ years of intense abuse and testing - which makes this pair that much more disappointing.

My first pair lasted two years through torturous abuse. Not so much my second pair. The leaked after six months.

I started wearing my new boots August 13th 2023, in under 2 months, the inside of the boot is falling apart and theirs a plastic heal piece that's poking through and cutting the back of both heals. I emailed rocky the other week and got no response from them. These boots didn't even last a full 2 months.

Wore predators for years but had to find new boots due to no longer making predators. Got these tried breaking in slowly but 2 days of CO 12 hour shifts and I had no skin left on the bottom of my toes. Zipper is a bit flaky too.
