These boots feel very comfortable and very sturdy. It feels very stable and I will try them out to see how they stretch and how long will will it last. Even though i ordered them 10 W, they feel a little snug when i wear them. I hope they stretch in a couple of months.

My 2nd pair in the past few years great workmanship but I miss the button flap that covered the top of the zipper that flap made it a lot easier to pull them on. Waiting for the rain to see how they hold up. You can bet I'll be buying another pair in about a year flap or no flap I'm sold on these boots for life.

Bought these boots for work and they are everything that I expected and then some. They are lighter than my other boots and supposed to be waterproof. I have not had the opportunity to use them in wet conditions as of yet.

Zip-up feature is the best. My hands don't work too well.
Downside - needs a back pull on loop! I grabbed the snap over tab when putting on the boot and it ripped right off.
Waterproof so far. Using them with snake guards to move copperheads - No strikes so far.

I've owned these boots for a month, and they've offered great value for my money. They are very comfortable, and it took me less than a week to break them in (wearing them 10 hours a day). In contrast to some of the reviews I've read, I've had no issues with sizemy boots are true to their size. They're not smaller or narrower than what they're supposed to be, even with the composite toes.
I'm impressed with the comfort, protection, and support these boots provide. I tested their waterproof feature by stepping in a puddle six inches deep and standing in it for about 20 minutes. I inspected them afterwards and found no hint of moisture inside the boots.
The only thing that has kept me from giving these boots a perfect rating is the loose fit of the snaps on the leather that covers the zippers. They unsnap after walking just a few steps. It's a minor flaw, in my opinion. But since I've read about it in other reviews, I suppose it's not an uncommon quality control issue. However, this issue won't prevent me from recommending these boots to my friends and colleagues.

I bought the boots and wore them everyday for four months and that was 12 hour shifts. They were comfortable and held up well. I am trying out the zipper boots because I need the support for my ankles but I am also need the speed of putting them on quickly in case of an emergency. Saying that the boots are waterproof is pushing it though.

I bought these 2 weeks ago. I had used them in law enforcement one pair lasted me over 4 years now being used daily. Finally I decided to break down and buy my own for home use. The only down side is breaking the new ones in but I'm looking forward to breaking them in and not having to get another pair for about 5 years.

Got these boots 2 weeks ago and wearing them ever since. Because this is a zipper up boot, the boot laces are a bit springy. A little rubber band like so you can slip your foot into them. But the bad thing about that is that you can not lace your boot up tightly. As in being at one with the boot, which I prefer. But this is the trade off for a pair of boots that you can slip on and zipper up. It does save a bit of time, not having to lace up your boots every morning. But the main feature for why I purchase this boot is that they are WATERPROOF. As in no wet feet. That feature has not been tested yet. But if they are anything like the last pair of Rocky boots I purchase, same as these except for the zipper, there should dbe no problems. Comfort is good. Easy to polish to good shine.

Always go back to a proven winner. I had worn a pair of Rocky's AlphaForce boots for years that had treated me real well and took a beating. So when it was time for a new pair I went back to what worked. Of course, these did not disappoint. Fit perfectly and after about a week, they have broken in nicely. I enjoy the added side zipper, as my old one's did not have, and I love the support and comfort they provide my feet.

I bought these boots a few weeks ago and I love Rocky boots and have wore them for years as I am in corrections and security. This pair the right boot back heel piece was kinda bent in on the inside part. I tried to bend it back out several times but it digs into the inside of my heel. I have been wearing them hoping it will bend back out. It got a little better but still rubs into the inside of my heel. The right boot seems a little different then the left and fits tighter.

Bought these off one of the US military exchange sites, expecting US made goods for my uniform and clothing. First thing I see out of the box is "made in China". Only opted for these because I assumed less weight composite toe, instead of the official issue steel toe. Get what you pay for.

The soles of these boots are very comfortable and I have no doubt that they are very warm in the winter. They also appear to be waterpoof as advertised. However, the break in period is one of the worst I have ever endured (they are still not yet broken in). I wore them around the house for a few days and they seemed fine. After walking a few blocks, the insides of my heels were getting sore. I had some pretty bad blisters after the first outdoor expedition. I gave them a rest for a few weeks and tried again, this time with two pairs of socks. I still had some soreness and bleeding. My previous purchase of Rocky's Paratrooper boots broke in within a couple of weeks with no blisters. I will add that I have been primarily wearing boots for 25+ years, and I have never had this much trouble breaking in a pair of boots. Maybe I should wrap them in a towel and soften them up with a sledgehammer?

I bought a pair of these almost a year ago. Probably the most comfortable pair of boots I've ever owned. (Been LE on the streets for 20 Years); the rubber sole has peeled off, starting with the heel. I've NEVER had a pair wear out so fast. The finish as well is wearing out around the whole boot. Decent winter boot. Here in CT with all the snow ice and rain

Rocky does make a great boot. It feels great, is made of top quality materials, and works well. It fits nicely and the side zipper is wonderful.
The downside to this boot is that the waterproof lining inside the zipper rubs against my leg and irritates the skin. I have developed a rash where the top of the boot webbing inside the zipper area that hurts every day I wear them. There seems to be no amount of breaking in to stop this rubbing from happening. (I've been wearing them for almost a month at work now)
On top of the irritation, the boot does not breath well. It makes great for cold and watery conditions but my indoor factory work area leads to my feet getting warm, balmy, and moist from the lack of ventilation throughout the boot. My feet feel wet at times and my feet coming out of my boot feels like my body walking out into the winter after a hard work out (sweaty and instantly feels the cold).
If you want a great winter boot, this is wonderful for that. Indoor or summer work would not be recommended. I'd like to keep them for winter work like shoveling, etc and find a new boot that better fits my needs.

i bought these online just a few days ago, 2/13/2017 and they were delivered 2/16/2017, was very happy about that, but while the left boot fit the way i expected, and was comfortable, the right boot has a defect in the heel, causing a blister in the first day of wear, these are going back. might try another set of the same, or go with another model.

I have bought maybe 6 pairs of these boots over the years. They are good boots. However the quality has gone downhill. The last two pairs I have bought: the leather seems to crack much faster. I polish these boots frequently, even though I work in construction. Even with good maintenance they just don't last like my first few pairs. I will say that I still love them, I just wish they would last like they used too.

I bought these a month ago. Broke in quickly. Only time can judge how tough they are. One problem, these are the skinniest WIDE WIDTH boots I have ever been expected to pry on my big feet. The sizing is not generous.

This is approximately my 10th pair of Alphaforce boots. Usually they hold up well and are very comfortable. This time I am surprisingly dissatisfied. I have been wearing them for 2 weeks and the soles are already starting to separate from the boot. I usually get around 6 months of hard work out of them regardless of the weather. That won't happen this time.
