Why are they so tight? They were the perfect fit until I moved 5 paces in them. Total let down. Didn't bother sizing up. Just returned them. I expected more from this style for all day wear. Oh well then back to the drawing .

I normally wear a 10.5 or 11 depending on the manufacturer, I ordered an 11 in these, an 11.5 would have been better. The tongue is attached at the sides with these, so they feel really tight, like swollen feet levels of tight. I love Vans, but these were a bit disappointing; they look great, just not the usual Vans level of comfort.

Heartbreaking, such cool kicks, but not for the thick footed. If you've got wide feet and meaty ankles, this shoe will make you wish you didn't. If you don't have meat feet, go for it!

I really wanted these to fit well. Like other reviewers mentioned. The toe box is too narrow. These had to be returned.

The upper color was a beautiful pearly/milky white with a pure white base and trim. I ordered a half size up (usually wear 8.5, ordered a 9) and it fit but felt pretty tight/narrow through the mid-foot/mid-sole area. I almost loved the shoe but the heel part was just too thick-looking. Looked like an orthopedic shoe or something. Make a low profile version of this shoe and I'd buy it for sure. Just not very stylish on a short, skinny guy like myself. I'd recommend checking out the Vans "AUTHENTIC LO PRO" shoe instead, which is what I'll probably go with for a white summer shoe. Good luck!

LOVE the style of these Vans UltraRange, but man are they sung. I do not have wide feet, average or even a bit narrow, and it was all I could do to squeeze my feet into these. Bummed as the color and look of these shoes are spot on. Just not comfortable enough to keep, will be returning.

The top mesh is not durable. The shoe feels more narrow than UltraRange MTE. Looks awesome. Very lightweight.

I've had three pairs of these shoes, but something has changed with more recent batches and they wear out much more quickly. The soles or my latest pair became unglued within a month and the off the wall logo on the back peeled off within six months. Love the comfort and look of these shoes but I won't be buying another pair and this decline in quality makes me weary of Vans in general.

I've been wearing the same size vans forever, but these were way too small!

The Rapid Weld Ultra Range is considerably smaller in size/fit than the EXO Ultra Range. I thought it would break in some but it's not the case. Disappointed because I can't wear the shoe. Stick with the EXO. Those are more true to size and fit better.

Thought these would be good walking shoes based on reviews. Fit well and were good for about a mile, but my feet were aching horribly after a few hours.

I'm in my late 30s and have been wearing skate shoes for most of my life, largely due to having plantar fasciitis since I was about 10. I used to wear podiatrist prescribed orthotics, but stopped using them when I started wearing skate shoes with better arch support. Naturally, I love the aesthetic of Vans, and bought previous version of the rapidwelds, and was generally satisfied. However, wearing this current model after about a year, I am experiencing severe plantar fasciitis flare ups right now that are probably the most painful I've ever experienced. I do not recommend these shoes if you have PF, the heel is entirely too thin and wears out very quickly, to the point where I'm worried I'm having Achilles tendonitis as a result.

These are super comfy. However, after 3 months, there are rips and holes all over. For the price and brand, I would expect a better build quality. Very disappointing.

I used to buy these and they were made a half size too small so I always had to size up, so I just bought another pair in that same size and they're too small now meaning these shoes run a WHOLE size small vans quality control has fallen off a cliff

The quality of the shoes seems very cheap and poorly made. I decided not to keep these as they dont seem to be worth the almost $100 bucks they cost.

This is my third pair of these shows and the fit has changed drastically. As others have said, the toe width must have been decreased. It's so narrow I've been getting blisters on both my pinky and big toe. So disappointed as these used to be my favorite shoes.

Good when worn infrequently. Seem to be sized oddly or the fit is just too tight, but they gave me blisters and pinched the bridge of my foot. Bummed

I love the shoes and comfort, BUT the mesh in the toe area wears a hole in them quickly! Sooo.....disappointed! If it weren't for this it would be AWESOME and I would purchase more colors.

This is my second pair of ultra range. My first pair lasted me years, ended up having to buy new because they started to separate.I love how they feel they are very comfortable, I would say I've worn these a hand full of times now and the second time I played tennis with them i blew a hole in the side of both shoes, this would be my second time playing tennis too. Just doing daily stuff like walking around I would recommend but if you do more than that they may fall apart.

Pretty expensive for a pair of shoes that fell apart pretty fast. They're light and decently comfortable but got holes on the side and came unglued.

I had such high hopes for these but not even a few weeks into owning these, the side of the shoe is already coming apart. They seem cheaply made!
