I have several pairs of Vans, and some that are almost 10 years old and still in perfect condition. However, this pair that I strictly use for walking around, had the sole start detaching (a 2-3" section) on the inside heel area. I was able to use some industrial strength glue and it has held for the past month. Now the front outer section by the toes is doing the same thing and I'm not going to bother with fixing these again. They look great, but there is a serious factory defect with these if the sole is falling off.

The first pair I got was really comfy never had complain about my toe hurting that's why I bought another pair when it starting to ripped off on the top coz I worn it everyday but the second pair I bought was very narrow it hurts my toe so bad I wish I returned it right away but I thought It will be good after wearing it couple times but it didn't changed so now it just sitting on my shoe rack.

It looks great, the insole is very comfortable and it's very breathable. My issue is around the toes. It feels like it's half a size smaller because it's so tight around my toes. It causes pain for my pinky toes because they're so rigid towards the widest part of the shoe.

Shoe broke on the first day. This is also the second time you asked me to review this booty butt shoe.

Got these shoes before and they were fine. This pair the interior heel broke off the first day or wearing them.

I love the look of these shoes, and they are comfortable. however they just don't hold up for the price. The sole has begun peeling off the bottom of the shoe. I have only had them for 3 months. Disappointed, not the quality I have seen from vans in the past.

Bought this exact shoe 2 years ago and loved them! Went to replace them and something has changed. They are much tighter, and just not nearly as comfortable as my previous pair. Will unfortunately need to be returned.

I ordered these in all black. You can see the shiny clear glue everywhere. But they are comfy. They should cost $40 or less.

These shoes are awesome, but after a day of wear my little toes started to hurt. I spoke with the person who had recommended them and she said the same thing happened to her. I had of the "made for the makers" before and they were great other than the rubber around the soles started to "bacon" I love the non-slip and the look, but I have to change to slip-ons half way through the day, which obviously do not have non-slip soles.

I bought these shoes as work shoes. They were perfect for bartending. Lightweight, good slip resistance (could walk on wet tile no problem), and the neutral black color was everything I needed. They felt great too! Only issue is I work part time, no more than 20 hours a week. These shoes started coming apart in as little as 6 months. I expected better build quality, and am disappointed they didn't even last a year with minimal use. Will begrudgingly buy another pair since they worked well while they lasted.

I ordered these shoes in the normal size I wear and I can't barely get them on my feet. I'm gonna have to return them.

I've been wearing vans for over 10 years, it was my very first shoe growing up. When I was gifted a pair of ultra ranges I was in shock at how comfortable they were. After that I wanted another pair and chose these. THEY WERE SO NARROW I HAD TO WEAR WITHOUT A SOCK JUST FOR COMFORT. My normal size felt so small to me and they don't make any bigger than it so I haven't been able to wear them. :(

I bought these a few months back and absolutely loved them - they became my favorite pair of shoes. They are without a doubt the most comfortable pair of vans I've owned and I've owned roughly 20-30 pairs. However, I'm incredibly disappointed to see the shoe already coming apart. I wasn't expecting these to last as long as my other classic vans styles but only getting a few months of use out of these is very disappointing, to say the least. I only wore these for regular everyday use - no hikes, gym, or any other activity that could possibly stress the shoe enough to warrant the heel separation. After telling my family members and friends to purchase this shoe, I hope their pairs last longer than mine because I can no longer recommend these unless you're okay with buying a new pair every few months.

I bought a size 11.5, which is what I normally wear for pretty much any brand and even other vans shoes that I've purchased before. These however felt like they were 12.5 on my feet, with lots of toe room to move around. After using them just to walk around outside for a couple hours about four or five separate times I can confidently say that these shoes have given me toe infections and rubbed the back of my heels raw even while wear Band-Aids on them each time. The heel support is so hard and un-cushioned that it just feels like your getting a piece of plastic rubbing against you're heel. I cannot tighten them down enough so that my foot doesn't slip when going up or down different gradients, without the top of my foot hurting because I tied the laces so tight. You would expect that the upper would be more breathable because of how thin an light it is, but for whatever reason it feels like my foot is getting roasted and getting no ventilation. I do like the look of Ultrarange EXO's, the sole's cushioning is just fine, the rubber tread is perfect and holds up just like any other vans shoe does, and the side walls on the outside of the shoe is nice and durable as well. I have always enjoyed my vans shoes that I have purchased from here (something like 3 or 4 pairs now) and don't have any complaints about any of those shoes to speak of. However, these are much less than satisfactory for me, too much pain to keep wearing them so unfortunately these are just going to get hung up I guess:/

They are cute shoes, I'll start on a positive note. But they are tight on my toes. I've always worn an 8 1/2 in Vans (10+ years and at least 20 pairs) but I definitely should've gotten a 9. Also, I bought them for their slip resistance and i've discovered that they definitely aren't.

I purchased this same style shoe but the gray version and they were perfect for work except got dirty very easy. So I repurchased in all black, and they are WAY too small. I ordered them a half size up and they are still too small. They are very narrow and squeeze my pinky toes. I'm not sure what the difference between the all black pair and the gray pair, but I'm pretty disapointed. Also, not good if you are looking for slip resistant.

I really really like this shoe. I have a wider food, but this is also a narrow shoe. After 6 months (Jul 2021 to date), two holes at the pinky toe.

I have always worn the same size shoe, these are the only shoes I've ever put on that were too narrow. I love the style of these just sad they didn't fit and that most the reviews say they fall a part. Returned these shoes because of the fit and the reviews.

Shoes are light weight and comfortable. Nice design too, but after maybe a month of casually wearing them.. the entire bottoms started falling apart. Definitely not worth the price for the materials used.

While I think they're comfortable, I've worn them 4 times and they're already falling apart. This is my second pair I've ever owned and I won't buy again.

Pros: great look and light. Cons: cheaply made and not comfortable. Buy a decent pair of Nike's or Adidas and save some money. Van's needs to stick with what they're good at.

So these shoes came in and I personally think they look pretty nice. They have that simple yet distinguished look that the Vans brand has built for themselves. But they just BARELY fit my foot. I'm supposed to wear a 12.5 wide shoe, but I don't care for any of the traditional "big foot" brands. So I usually order things like Vans shoes in a 13 (which has worked in the past for me with Vans, along with other brands.) The UltraRange Rapidweld CLAMPS onto my foot, it's pretty ridiculous. I wish the shoe brands I like just made a shoe that fits bigger footed people until then, I'm going to have to (regrettably) find another shoe brand that can accommodate my shoe size.

Very disappointed my son has worn only vans for the better part of his 26 years and I have to say there has never been a problem until this pair. He needs to wear complete black for work and he just loved how comfortable these were. I just went to take a picture but I think he threw them out. I'm getting him another pair for Christmas and hope that this was just a fluke. Fingers crossed.
