Really enjoying these! Dog walking sturdy, neat looking and versatile shoes for trails or sidewalks. True to size. I wear an 8. The grey with pale aqua trim is especially attractive. I may get a second pair for when these wear out:)

I'm so happy with my Oboz hiker "high tops" that I bought these for my daily walks on NH's back roads. Don't want to wear out my trail boots -- I just love my Oboz!

This is the hiking shoe you want. I thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail in '19, and these shoes were the best.

Very comfortable and absolutely waterproof. I have walked in wet grass and feet stay dry.

Hiked 5 trails in the Hocking Hills with comfort. Excellent fit. I did order a half size up to accommodate winter socks.

Very comfortable. My old boots fell apart while I was doing day hikes, so I had to use these immediately without breaking them in. I had no problems at all with them.

We traveled to Jackson hole Wyoming and Yellowstone, I had sent back 5 different brands of hiking/ walking shoe prior to our trip. I had just purchased these one week before our trip, so not a lot of time to make sure they would be okay, but they were awesome. I had purchased one pair of hiking type socks which I wore, but really only needed regular socks. Both worked, but the weather was beautiful and the heavier sock was not necessary. I am very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend them for whatever your walking needs maybe. We did trails, sidewalks, airports, rocky and wet ground no problems they held up beautifully, my feet were neither cold or wet. Barb

I love these shoes! The materials are high quality, and they truly support my feet. I appreciate the grip on the soles...good for wet leaves on sidewalks as well as hiking in the woods!

Recently hiked in Utah in these for the first time. These are the best hiker I've ever had. I felt more sure footed than my other brand of hikers and they were comfortable right from the start.

Comfortable from the minute I put them on. Excellent traction (wore on wet, rocky hike) and they were great. True to size. Well made. Highly recommend.

It was suggested on the website to order a 1/2 size up. I wish I'd bought two sizes and made that decision myself. They are a tad too big, though I've corrected the problem with insoles.
I'd also recommend:
Merrill, Chaco, Dansko

After some disappointing efforts with the fit, comfort, and water resistance of a Keen and then a Saloman hiking shoe, I have found these to be just what I'd been looking for--comfort, fit, style, and water proofing are great and just what I have wanted in years for my daily walks/hikes!

Just returned from two wonderful weeks in Iceland even though it rained almost every day . The Oboz kept me dry and comfortable every day hiking to glaciers, on lava fields, in cities and whale watching. After all that, they still look good.

Oboz Sapphires were comfortable straight out of the box. I have flat wide feet w/typical narrow heel. Also need a large toe box. Felt support from these shoes.
I'd also recommend:
Merrell, Keen

These run small and slightly narrow so I have always ordered 1/2 size up. These (and another type of Oboz) are my go to hiking shoes. I can walk for miles right out of the box! I just ordered my 3rd pair and I am going to try to keep these from getting muddy like my last pair! much loved. highly recommend! (old pair on the right, new on the left).

I've owned many styles of Oboz hiking boots over the years--they're terrific. What I needed this time was a lower-key hiker that doubled as a walking shoe. The Sapphire model fit the bill perfectly--comfortable right out of the box, low profile, but also supportive and waterproof. I use PowerStep orthotic insoles, and they fit fine. A winner!

These fit with the comfort of a sneaker and are completely water proof. There was no break in period and my feet don't get tired or angry after wearing them for a day of yard work. others I've tried have been bulky and clunky or don't flex well but these hit the mark in every way. they keep water out whether it's a splash from the hose or clomping through puddles leading horses in and out. Pricey but worth it.

This is the second time I bought this exact shoe. I like them because they have very little slope from back of foot to toes, have a wide toe box, and have a very firm foot bed. My feet never get tired when I'm wearing these all day, standing on my feet, walking, working, etc.

I bought these to go hiking in Sedona, Arizona. I wore them right out of the box and did four long, hard hikes. My feet felt great.

I love this shoe. Good arch support, plenty of toe box room and comfortable right out of the box. I went with a half size larger and I'm happy with the fit. No issues with rubbing or blisters on their first hike.

This is my second pair of OBOZ. The first pair lasted three or four years. I had a business pack hiking off leash dogs in Topanga Canyon. Those shoe/boots saw a lot of steps! I love OBOZ. Style good too as well as very good arch support for folks with high arches.
