Very happy with these boots. I tried a lot of other brands (vasque, solomon, zamberlan, merril, ahnu) and the Oboz styles I tried were all a better fit for me. My foot is pretty normal, maybe slightly narrow heel.
I wear a 10 in most shoes and a 10.5-11 in sneakers. For these the 10.5 was too tight but the 11 was perfect. Left enough room for my Darn Tough hiking socks. Thick or medium weight. And they didn’t make my feet look enormous like some other hiking boots. I also pronate a little and these gave good stability.
These felt good out of the box but I did break them in a bit with some walks and light hikes. Yesterday I took them on a 10 mile hike in NH White Mountains. Super comfortable the whole time! They have the right amount of support but are still flexible.

I run between a women's shoe size 9 and 9.5, so based on previous reviews stating that the boots run a bit narrow, I opted for the 9.5. The 9.5 boots fit perfectly and allow enough room for thick winter socks. With that said, my feet are on the narrow side of normal, so if your feet run a bit wide you may not be able to wear these boots with thick socks, or may need to go a 1/2 or full size up. In addition to fitting well, the boots are comfortable, great in the snow and have decent traction. My feet tend to get cold easily, but these boots have kept my feet warm and dry even after hour + walks in the snow and rain. Unlike other hiking boots I've had in the past, these have a slim profile which helps me feel "surer" on my feet. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately I couldn't get my foot into the Oboz Sapphire Mid BDry. My feet do not bend well at the big toe joint, and I was unable to get the boot on. I assume that someone with a high instep would have the same problem. The boot just doesn't open up enough. They are lovely looking, but won't work for me. I am unable to comment on Comfort, True to size, True to width, and Arch support.

A new treat for my feet! I love Oboz. The Sawtooth's have been my go to, but I wanted something with a little less 'hiking boot' profile. The Sapphire's fit the bill. Even with the sleeker look, I found them to be true to size, with the same generous toe box Oboz is known for.

A Colorado friend with lots of hiking boot experience recommended Oboz and I'm glad I listened. I really love the comfort, lightness and look of these boots, especially the Huckleberry color. Occasionally I need a 10.5 in shoes instead of a 10, so ordered the larger size especially to accommodate socks. They were almost comfortable but I decided to try the 11s. The 10.5s are now on their way back and I'm enjoying my comfortable new size 11 boots. As always, it's been easy and comfortable dealing with Zappo's.

These are like walking on pillows! Love the support and the width in the toe box. They are also sturdy yet lightweight. The only issue is they run a little small. I usually wear a 7.5 but these were a little too snug so I am returning for an 8. Can't wait to try these out on a hike! The style isn't bad either and they don't look too clunky or bulky.

What a great boot! Comfortable from the beginning. Hiked a month through Norway and had dry and comfortable feet the whole time. I have tried Merrell, La Sportiva, Solomon, and Columbia brands. This blows all those boots out of the water. Great traction on the wet trails. Sporty looking too. I have slightly wide feet and there was plenty of room in the toe box with my thin Darn Tough socks. I will definitely be buying Oboz again.

I like Oboz because they have good arch support compared to other brands. They fit well however at first they were tough to get on due to the taller design and small opening. They are better now that they have stretched out and softened up some. The boots are light weight and appear to be well made.

For the past month or so, I have been trying replace an old pair of Vasque hiking boots that fit perfectly. I have ordered and tried several models of shoes and boots from Vasque and Oboz with no luck until now These were the only ones that felt fine right out of the box. They are likely not as sturdy as the old Vasque pair and sole is not as cushioned or thick, but I am not a super serious hiker so this is probably fine. They are a much slimmer fit than the Sawtooth so I went up a half size to a 10. As always, Zappos makes the ordering and return process easy so that I could eventually find something that is exactly right. Thanks!

Loved the dark brown & aqua color combo, but shallow pointy toe box was a deal breaker. So sad--the boots are very cute.

I love Oboz hiking boots and have never had ordered the same pair twice. However, after hiking in the new pair on a strenuous trail, it was clear that something in the foot bed of my right boot was askew. It rubbed against my ankle when on uneven terrain. No matter how I laced the boot, I couldn't alleviate the issue. I will exchange and try again. I think it was just a defective boot.

These boots are great! They are so cute and stylish. Much better than the boots I've been wearing my whole hiking life. (about 30years) I don't hike that often, so my first pair of boots is still in good shape. They are just masculine looking and I wanted to look trendier when hiking. I assume these Oboz will last the rest of my life at the rate I hike. I have not worn these yet, so I can't comment on that. I did take everyone's advice and order a half size up. I usually wear an 8 and ordered an 8.5 and they fit wonderfully. I've been wearing them around the house to make sure I want to keep them. And the answer is, "I do!" The support in the arch and heel feels wonderful. Something about that takes the pressure off the ball of your foot.

First off, Zappos recommended ordering half a size up from what you normally wear. I did. I am 100% glad I did, these fit perfect. I'm usually and 8, sometimes a 7.5 in sneakers. I got an 8.5 and these are a dream with my darn tough socks on. I have not hiked in these yet, but just wearing them walking feels great. Very good arch support. Felt like my feet were getting a hug. Major takeaway here is order half a size up.

I tried several pair of hiking boots before landing on these. Had little time to break them in, but just got back from a 2 day hiking trip and they were great. Went through lots of rain and mud and they really stood up to the waterproof test. I liked the way others looked better, but so glad I went with these for function. (And I actually think these look better than most!)

Great boot. This is my second pair and it is stiffer than the previous pair. It took a little more time to break in but it's worth it. I have a narrow foot and this fit very well.

These are my first pair of hiking boots and I’m loving them. Right out of the box, the fit was perfect, the boots were extremely comfortable, and my feet and ankles felt well supported. Very pleased.

I have high arches and underpronate so getting the right hiking boot is critical. After 5 years with my beloved Ahnu boots the liner was shot and I could not find any in my size. So I tried Oboz. What a lucky decision. They have held up beautifully, maintain their just new support and look great after almost an entire winter's wear. They are a bit higher on the ankle than the Ahnu but make up for that with incredible support and comfort.

I really wanted to like these boots. They were comfortable and more feminine that a standard boot but I thought the tongue was too narrow and the back of the boot hit me in an uncomfortable place on the back of my leg. Back they went.

Felt true to size, and after a 6+ mile hike don't feel like they're constricting my feet too much. The ankle support is amazing. I had been rolling my ankles on my hikes quite a bit and this alleviated that problem. They are absolutely waterproof, as I've had to walk through some creeks. I would not recommend driving in these because of the ankle support- take another pair of shoes to change into.

I bought these boots for our winter weather here in Vermont. They are comfortable, warm, waterproof and have a rugged grip. Bought a 1/2 size up for wearing with thick wool socks.

Fantastic boot! Perfect comfort right out of the box. Wore these on an 8 hour difficult hike during a torrential storm and these boots didn't slip up or down slick rocks.

I've used these boots a few times and I'm really happy with my purchase. They are comfortable on the 3-5 mile hikes I've gone of thus far. I've worn them in rainy weather and they keep my feet dry.

These are great! The first time I wore them they were comfortable and didn't need "breaking" in. They kept my feet warm & dry on a hiking trip to Iceland and I'm sure they will continue to do so on future hikes. Happily they are very lightweight so not only a joy to walk in, but they didn't weigh down my suitcase! I'm very pleased with my purchase!
