Bought these as a gift for my wifes b-day. Not for anything sports specific, but for a good all-around warm sock for walking/hiking/lounging in the Winter months. She absolutely loves them, especially the fact that they are high enough up her legs that they sort of act as Long Johns, without needing to put on a whole additional layer.

I have Reynauds Syndrome. My fingers and toes get horribly cold, turning white and sometimes blue. Helping my hands stay warm has been less difficult than keeping my feet and toes warm. I was so disappointed buying merino socks, only to find mostly synthetic socks, with just a kiss of merino wool. My feet would sweat with no wicking and then be colder than ever. Your socks are the answer! They are warm and they wick. So grateful to have found you!

These are very comfortable, warm and quality socks. I use to wear alpaca socks, however, the quality of those went down hill. Well worth the price.

I love these socks! I will wear them year-round. They fit perfectly, are soft, warm, and so comfortable. It is hard to find good over the calf socks, especially ones that stay up. The gives my legs a bit of support. I can feel the improved circulation.

These really saved my feet on a mud filled 40km hike, we had to wear rubber boots which offered no support. The cushion of these socks was so great.

These are the best mountaineering socks, hands down. I especially love how they retain their stretchiness compared to other brands. Darn tough is the best!

I really like these long cushiony socks. They feel good and keep my feet warm. I often use them instead of slippers in the cold Winters of the North. I also very much like that they are made here in the U S A. These socks are durable. They go clear up to my knee and are super comfortable and the fit is very nice as well. This is so far the best sock I have ever worn.

I wish I hadnt waited so long to buy these. Theyve changed my life!

I love these socks. My feet stay warm it not sweaty. One improvement would be to stop the pills that come from rubbing on shoes.

Warm, soft, and thick that make going out in the cold a piece of cake for my legs and feet.

I wore these in Banff during the wintertime for some ice/mixed climbing and my feet were warm and overall comfortable (mountaineering boots are there own beast).

Love how soft these are. They also dont squeeze too tight at the thick part of my calf, like many other brands. Color blend is nice too.

The socks are warm. They fit well. But the wool at the top (just below my knees) is very itchy and uncomfortable. I would not recommend and wish I could return.

Fantastic. You wont be sorry you bought these. I wear them every day working construction outside in Massachusetts February weather and they always keep my feet warm, even if they get wet. Truth be told, despite the frequency of wear they hardly smell. Theyre a nice cushion under the heal and ball of my foot and dont pull the hairs on my legs. I wouldnt wear them in the summer lol I have other Darn Toughs for that.
