I have owned numerous Timbuk2 bags through the years. I have to say this is my favorite. Big enough to hold all the items I want to carry, but not huge. With the Velcro holding the top flap in place I never have to use the buckles. Naturally rides behind my hip. Very pleased with this purchase! I purchased 2 xs and 1 s. The xs is perfect for everyday.

I love Timbuk2 quality. It's better then most products out there, Especially for the price. This bag is great, the only thing I'm a little disappointed in is the color. It looked more yellow, brighter, online then it actually is. But I love everything else so I will keep it and recommend it!

As a woman who brings lunch every day it has been a challenge to find ONE bag that will fit everything and not look like I'm packing for a weekend trip. This bag is great. It sits open and upright when loading and unloading. I can fit my laptop, related cables and mouse, my lunch, coffee mug, and a decent sized purse all in this bag. The color is very nice and it's not too big when loaded or for my 5'4" frame.

even though I own many timbuk2 bags, I'm always in search of the absolute perfect bag. This one is so close with the addition of the inner strap. One of my only complaints with my other timbuk2 bags was difficulty compressing the bag when it's stuffed, the inner strap makes it possible to compress the opening and secure the contents (somewhat) when opening the bag while wearing it. My only suggestion to make this the perfect bag would be to add a zipper closure to the main compartment.
I've read some other reviews and I'm surprised people have complained about the strap, and the size of the bag. The dimensions are listed, do a little research, sheesh!

Bag is great for my 15-inch work laptop - which I bring on vacation (sometimes). Have pockets for a portable mouse and my computer glasses. Plus extra room for a portable keyboard and other goodies (such as lunch). The yellow liner on the interior provide a nice contrast in low light situation. Only complaint is not having a large enough pouch/zip-up pocket for my cell phone.

I work two jobs, and am able to carry my laptop (13.3"), four folders, 1 small book, 2 notebooks, water bottle, and small umbrella. With all these items, the bag still hasn't expanded to its max. It looks sleek, professional, and I don't have to worry the materials fading when it rains. If only I could have customized this style. The black material is nice and sleek, and the fluorescent inside helps items visually pop out faster.

Fits a few books, laptop, hygiene bag, small synths, and painting supplies. Lightweight, and the color is amazing in-person. Durable, waterproof, and very comfortable.

This is my third TIMBUK2 bag. An identical one to my first bag, purchased 11 years ago, was not available. Loved that bag and after 11 years the outside (cordura) still looked like new, however the inside was in shreds, covered with duct tape... I purchased another bag 2 years ago, but it is larger. I needed to purchase an everday carry. This is small (not extra small). It is lightweight (not cordura) I'm hopeful it will be as durable. If it's not, I will have to return to a heavier bag. The clips on the strap are blue. I would have preferred that they be black. Organization is great with one lightly padded inside pocket could hold an iPad or small 11 in laptop. There is another open compartment with organizers for pens, cell phones, lipstick, swiss army knife, etc. There is a zippered inside pocket as well. All of this has a snap strap that can secure the top against dumping out the contents of your bag accidentally. PS. for those that conceal carry, Cross Breed's purse carry works great with a small 2 inch barrel or less revolver. There's a net pocket inside for small waterbottle and another rounded pocket on the opposite side. Hopefully the interior won't fall apart like the previous bag.

This is the 4th Timbuk2 I've bought. Second if this exact type. It really is very light, also very comfortable, and just enough pockets for my needs as an ever day knock about bag

I've had this bag for two weeks now and I'm loving it -- it's simple, practical and flexible. Most of the time I use it as my basic work bag, and it has plenty of pockets for all my necessities. I especially love the phone-friendly zipper pocket that is protected by the flap but can be accessed without opening the bag.
There's plenty of extra room for days when I carry my lunch, extra books, random items of all types, but the bag doesn't feel oversized at all.
I don't usually carry a laptop except when traveling, but I tested this bag and it fits my 13" Chromebook perfectly. (Though I should note I have to use a laptop sleeve because the bag doesn't have a lot of padding, which I'm ultimately OK with. I don't need bulky padding most of the time.)
I got the Granite/Flame. The Flame highlights are awesome, though the Granite is more gray and less blue than I'd hoped. But I don't really care -- so far, this is my favorite Timbuk2 bag I've owned.

I am a full-time student and part-time employee at a non-profit. I needed a bag that looked professional, was functional, and was comfortable for biking and walking long distances. This bag has so far met all of my needs. I've had it for a week and I'm still finding new pockets I hadn't noticed before! I love using the accessible side pocket for my wallet and phone for running errands between work/class. The bag is also substantially bigger than I anticipated which I love. I can fit my 13' laptop, folders and planner, pencil pouch, multiple Tupperware containers, climbing shoes, and a sweatshirt inside comfortably (Medium sized bag). Only thing to note is that I ordered the Brass/Army colored bag expecting mustard yellow and it's instead a light brown/tan. The color is really nice though so no complaints.

Super sturdy bag. I can tell it won't fall apart. The interior lining is a beautiful color which flatters the outside color. I'm 6' tall, and the strap is too short to wear the bag over my bum - not even a little. However, it looks and wears perfectly as a sling when you tighten the strap (which only take a beat, rad). My only complaint is that the padded tablet pouch cannot be individually closed. As a result, when I blindly reach my hand in trying for the bag's main area I get snagged up in the tablet pouch. This might be because I actually keep a tablet in there, and the weight of it leans the pouch open. I'm thinking of gluing magnets or sewing velcro to resolve this. Great bag.

Fantastic. I can fit two pairs of glasses, my water bottle, a few books that I am reading, my folding shopping grocery bag, my plant based legal medication (ahem), my lip gloss stash, my lady part essentials, wallet, pens, keys, bandaids... as a hyper type A organizer human, this is my dream bag with many usable pockets for city life. Comfortable to carry, small but packs a ton of life needs for work and play. Looks fly as hell. Get it. Be happy. As you were.

I absolutely love this bag. After a lot of research and looking for a messenger bag that would be great for picking things up on my bike, I came to this. It's light, has a ton of useful pockets for containers, pencils, keys, etc. and the small and medium come with a nice cross strap to keep the bag secure. I especially love how tight you can make the straps for cycling. Very secure when riding.
Also, the color scout/shade color is great. Grayish with a hint of army green and nice purple buckles and inside. Love it.

This bag is great for little old ladies like me who have to carry 3-4 kinds of medications, plus emergency supplies, plus a book or two, and sometimes even a laptop for conventions that give hand-outs digitally. The key was finding a color that was not black, deep black, forest black, or dully dull grey. On the other hand, the choices were in-your-face neon. Gentle, pastel Eucalyptus was a revelation that I stumbled on just in time. Held everything, and easy to carry slung across my back. Enough pockets to find a variety of stuff quickly and easily. Yes, the Velcro is noisy, but enough pockets were available from the outside that the noise could be avoided when necessary. Good job, Timbuk2. Thx.

I saw this bag in the Seattle Timbuk2 store a few months ago and had it on my mind since. It's the perfect size for my needs and a great color too. I've owned many Timbuk2 bags and they're always up to the task at hand.

I work in Information Technology (IT) and this bag is everything I need to get me through the day. It holds my laptop, tablet, tools, and so much more! I'm very happy with my purchase. In fact, I'm looking to buy another one - just to have in a different color.
