These are absolutely perfect shoes in every way; waterproof; extremely comfortable from the first wear; Use them for walking - and they are so perfect. My feet are never tired - never want to take them off; however, I do find they may run a half size larger; I'm waiting for the half size smaller to come in to see which ones I prefer. Runs wide which is exactly what I need for my right foot. My feet get cold even with wool socks - but not with these. They fit with heavy wool as well as lightweight wool. Perfect.

Fantastic shoes. Low and lightweight, though they run a little big. I would recommend ordering a half size down.

I just received these shoes about a week ago, and so far they are amazing. Extremely comfortable, love the blue/gray color, great traction. Also, they were comfortable on the first wear - no breaking in required. Can't wait to get on the trails with them.

I adore this shoe. Unfortunately, Salomon consistently changes their shoes so often that I unable to ever purchase the same shoe twice. This is extremely frustration after several times and I am looking at other brands as a result. Bummer.

I've been buying Salomon for years. Love the fit. Great for a narrow foot. I've noticed with this shoe, the insole does not have the arch support as other Salomon shoes I've bought.

I've happily worn Salomons for many years. The wide toe box, comfort and durability are features that kept me coming back. The fit of the X Ultra 3 is a disappointment for me. The toe box size was sacrificed for a more modern streamlined look. I realize not everyone needs the wide toe box, but I hope this is not the new direction Salomon will go for all future models. I sent this shoe back and purchased the Sense Ride 3...they feel great!

X ultra 3 gris bleue test neuve sur randonne/ trail de 4h30 avec 600m de dnivel. Terrain humide beaucoup de racines et roches en fort. Pointure habituelle 40-40,5... pris pointure 40 2/3 Ravie de la semelle qui accroche et amortie bien la voute plantaire du terrain accident. Joli design aux couleurs pastels Pas encore convaincue par les lacets quick lace! ou Est-ce que le modle taille trop large? Pour le prix assez lev, je n'ai plus le choix que de l'amortir! Soit j'avais la chaussure trop lche et qui se tortionnait des 2 cts...la dpression quand on veut grimper avec une marche dynamique. j'ai le pied fin donc soit mon pied tait "saucissonn", serrage au max pour un maintien et stabilit dans la chaussure... mais il faut y aller deux et a coupe les doigts tirer sur ces lacets tout fin. pff Je pensais pouvoir remplacer par des lacets classiques mais ce serait dfinitif comme dcision, il faut tout couper...donc ressayer ainsi. Peut tre les "X ultra 3 Prime" auraient t un bon compromis? mais plus ma pointure.

Very light and comfortable walking shoes - very happy with the product. The shoe lace solution is also good. All as I expected, my previous pair being also Solomon. Because of this I knew that I have to go for 4.5 size even though I generally wear 4.

I bought my x ultra 3's last August and in the last month they've been falling apart everywhere. I am an avid hiker but got at least 300 miles out of my older x ultras. I loved these at first but now I don't know what to get to replace these - I'm Salomon faithful but don't want the same issues again!
