Ran them out of the box for a quick 20 miler with no issues.

Heute angekommen und direkt mal auf meinem Hometrail getestet. Passform ist super, ich empfinde ihn eher als einen schmaleren Schuh aber dennoch bietet er ausreichen Platz fr die zehen. Quicklace ist hier besonders bequem durch die neue Zungenkonstruktion. Auf den verschiedensten ntergrnden luft er sich komfortabel und man merkt kaum was von Steinchen oder spitzen Wurzeln aber dennoch hat man ein gutes Gefhl fr den Untergrund. Die Dmpfung ist enorm und die Beine werden nicht so schnell mde, besonders in schnellen Downhill - Passagen finde ich die Dmpfung als grosses Plus. Kurz um der bequemste Salomon Schuh bis jetzt!!!

Utilises et rodes sur quelques sorties en vue de l'EcoTrail Paris (18Km), je n'ai pas t du le jour J par ces superbes chaussures ! Je suis habitu aux Salomon mais celles-ci sont vraiment extra pour le trail. Le confort et l'amorti sont au top. J'ai t agrablement surpris par leur rsistance la pntration d'eau (pour une chaussure non tanche). Et malgr une fin de course sous une bonne pluie, un terrain tremp et boueux, l'accroche taient encore prsente et je ne me suis fais aucune frayeur. Je suis fidle Salomon depuis des annes, et ces S/LAB Ultra ne font que me conforter dans mon choix : du sans faute pour l'instant !

Meine beiden bisherigen Schuhe, ein Sonic Pro und knallroter Sonic Slab haben je so 500 Km auf der Uhr und ich habe begonnen mich nach Ersatz umzusehen. Sie fallen noch nicht auseinander, aber es wird langsam Zeit. Der Ultra kommt wie gewohnt schnell ins Haus und der erste Eindruck ist sehr wertig. Wunderbar ist, dass das Lace wieder da ist. Das geht nie beim Laufen auf, Schnrsenkel schon gern mal dann und wann. Ich habe das Lace lieben gelernt. Der Schuh wird ber zwei auenliegende Laschen zugezogen - das ist anders als bei den anderen beiden anderen. Sie ziehen sich damit angenehm zu, aber das Gefhl ist bei allen gleich. Meine Zehen haben vorn ausreichend Platz, sie sind nicht eng. Die Ferse ist sauber gepolstert, ich klebe aber rechts gleich einen Streifen ein. Das llegt daran dass meine Ferse hier immer das Material durchscheuert. Das liegt nicht am Schuh, sondern an meinen Fssen. Die Sohle vermittelt einen guten Bodenkontakt, man sprt gut worauf man luft. Das ist gut gelst. Mit dem Profil habe ich ein gutes Gehhl auf Asphalt, Sandboden und festem Waldboden. Ich laufe viel auf Sand - manchmal Waldboden. Fr Matsch sind die Schuhe nichts. Fr solches Terrain habe ich ein Paar Speedcross 4. Die Belftung des Fusses ist gut. Auch bei niedrigen Temperaturen wie jetzt (Mrz 2018) lsst es sich gut laufen.

I have been running with the first S/Lab Ultra and was excited to try the updated one! Salomon did it right! Great design, when the S/Lab Ultra came in, I went out for a 6 mile trail run, and it felt like a glove! I been a proud customer for Salomon and they never fail me. Thanks for making the exceptional shoes and gear!

I ran WS100 in the S/LAB ULTRA and loved the shoe, but it was a little too narrow in the toe box for me. When I saw complaints that the S/LAB ULTRA 2 was even more narrow up front, I was worried, but was very pleasantly surprised when my new S/LAB ULTRA 2's arrived. My first run out of the box was the 2018 Way Too Cool 50k... 31 miles of cold, muddy, wet trails. I finished the race without a single blister or sore spot on my feet. I was happy to find that the pressure I used to get on my pinky toe-nail (they would normally bruise and I lost them after WS100) with the S/LAB ULTRA 1 was non-existent with this shoe. My feet and toenails were in excellent shape. The shoe felt a little stiffer than the ULTRA 1, but that's probably because I have several hundred miles on each of my ULTRA 1's and I've forgotten what the shoe felt like when new.

When I first put them on in my living room, I was skeptical. They seemed to be tight in the toe box and I did not know what to think about the plastic "wings" off the side. I decided to go for a run and see what I thought. During the first run I was not convinced after the first mile, but the shoes seemed to adjust during the run and I really enjoyed that run. I put in some more miles on paved roads, dirt roads, smooth trials, and rocky trails. Despite my initial impression, I really like these shoes. I was expecting some problems due to the apparently tight toe box, but I had none. They seem to absorb the shock of running without having the dead feel that highly cushioned shoes can. They also feel more nimble than I was expecting on rocky trails. I will note that I found that I had to go up 1/2 a size compared to my Sense Rides. My Sense Ride is 1/2 a size smaller than what I wear in the Sense Pro 2. The longest run I have done in them is 13 miles thus far, so I don't know how they are going to feel after 50 to 100 miles. I expect well. They did not work well in a few inches of snow, but that is to be expected.

Llevo ya cerca de 200 km con ellas y de momento ni un signo de desgaste. Venia de otro tipo de zapatillas y la verdad es que estoy encantado con el cambio. No necesite periodo de adaptacion, amortiguacion muy buena y el agarre excelente

Bonjour J'ai trouv? en cette chaussure tout ce que je voulais protection du pied, un la?age pr?cis,de la r?activit?... en un mot, le model le plus abouti de chez s lab depuis des ann?es malgr? un l?ger manque de grip sur du sol humide. Le seul probl?me est le retour au mesh pas solide (contrairement au pr?c?dent model) et en r?ponse du sav c'est normal la chaussure n'a pas de dur?e de vie sup?rieure ? 300 km. un un mot une chaussure top mais il faut accepter qu'elle ne durera pas longtemps dans les 300 km. Voyez en cette chaussure une chaussure de comp?tition exclusivement. A noter qu'il vaut mieux avoir des pieds fin.

Le seul problme est le retour au mesh pas solide (contrairement au prcdent model) et en rponse du sav c'est normal la chaussure n'a pas de dure de vie suprieure 300 km. un un mot une chaussure top mais il faut accepter qu'elle ne durera pas longtemps dans les 300 km. Voyez en cette chaussure une chaussure de comptition exclusivement. A noter qu'il vaut mieux avoir des pieds fin.

Cependant, je rejoins les autres avis quant l'accroche sur sol mouill (trs limite) et l'usure (trous dans le mesh et semelles lisses par endroits... aprs seulement 500 km). Un peu dommage pour des chaussures faites pour du trs long !
