I'm very satisfied with S/Lab Ultra! I have been running in them on various terrains: technical and non-technical trails. Endofit truly provides that sock-like feeling. Grip is outstanding despite the fact that it looks kind of light. Love the updated lace-pocket - wondering what took Salomon that long to figure it out! Besides numerous training runs with distance varying between 10-26+ miles, I have done a few 50k in them, as well as 50-milers - they are holding up well, except I would love to see more resilient upper mesh. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the purchase and usual Salomon's outstanding quality! Keep up with the good work Salomon Team - great job. P.S. ordered a pair of Ultra Pro - can't wait to try them out!

Didn't think the Salomon fit could get any better, then I tried these. Combined with Sensifit and the new Endofit, a sort of sleeve designed to hug the foot in exactly the right places, the new tongue and upper design (with a neat new way to stash the Quicklace slack) really holds your foot in a more comfortable position than ever + allows for great feedback from the trail. I might have to invest in a second pair right now incase they ever stop production! True shoe FOMO.

Have run about 100 miles in these shoes and they are great shoe. Super comfortable and the new external wings really help to look down your foot without causing any discomfort. The traction on the shoes is solid like all Salomon shoes. Onyl issue is that I could use a little more length on the lacing system as it is cut slightly short making it a little challenging to get the shoe on but not a a deal breaker by any means. I would definitely recommend these.

By the end of the race I only had 2 small blisters and did loose any toe nails! What I love the most about them is material they are made from. It doesn't get wet as much as other shoes and get dry very quickly. Looking forward to miles!

This is the most comfortable pair of running shoes to date and believe me I have many. The forefoot cushioning, for me, is the right balance between firm,cushioned and protective. Having had a lot of discomfort in my forefoot area through morton's Neuroma, these have hit the mark spot on. I wear these as an everyday training and racing shoe and have put over 250miles on them in the last few weeks over various terrain and they show no signs of wear and tear as of yet and seem to handle everything I through at them. I will definitely be purchasing a few more pairs of them. So please don't change them!

Due to ongoing achilles issues bought these shoes as a higher drop alternative to my S/LAB SGs. I bought these online, rather than at a store, and have had mixed luck with Salomon shoes and consistent sizing. I ordered the same size as the SG's and they initially seemed a bit snug and was worried they'd pinch or chafe as my feet swelled. So far, they've been great. They fit snuggly around the ankle and seem to adapt to the foot as you run. Pleasantly surprised that the shoe seems to get more comfortable during the run. Traction, is great as always. Plus this is a great looking shoe.

I just covered 100km on the Cotswold Way in these, not one blister. Really comfortable and durable, ideal for ultra distances.

Bought a pair few months ago and had my first try on them in tarmac. I knew the shoe would be well cushioned and supportive, and the feeling on basic run was softer than other Salomon's I've had. After few runs on tarmac I went into our local hill to do some uphill training, and running down I first realized the shoe really had the best cushioning and support I've had in any trail running shoe. Your foot holds very well in place and there is no fear of toe bang or anything else you normally get when you run fast downhill on hard surface. Last weekend I ran 84k trail ultra and realized that the shoe is really made for that! I tightened my laces before the run and didn't have to do ANYTHING else to my shoes during the run. No need to adjust laces, no need to change socks, no need to empty shoe from needles or rocks, no blisters, no loose toe nails, basically no problems at all. This is actually pretty amazing, as I never thought I could just forget my shoes on a run which lasts for 12 hours. I'm very impressed of the shoe, and would recommend it without any doubt to anyone looking for well cushioned trail running shoe for short and especially longer runs. I though my last year's S/Lab Sense Ultra's were hard to top, but this new S/Lab Ultra did it, and it will be my only trail shoe for the season.

great shoe, highly recommend! i feel so much faster in this shoe, its like going from a ford to a lamborghini. Like the lamborghini the shoe is expensive, but hey quality costs.
