Wow! I have not tried on a pair of sneakers that fit so comfortably the second I put them on maybe - ever. So I bought 2 more. You see I have small feet with a kind of narrow heel, but I also have a wide toe box (thank you bunions). Let me tell you the struggle to find comfy shoes has been years in duration. The search is over. Goodbye unhappy feet. Hello Taos Moc Star. Great arch support too. Happy dance.

This is a very good shoe for people with bad feet. And it doesn't look orthopedic! The arch support an cushioning are superior. This is one of the few shoes I can wear without an orthotic insert.

I loved these as soon as I put them on. They are great support. I had plantar fasciitis surgery and I need always get a shoe with good arch support or they need to be able to accommodate my orthotics. I didn’t need to wear my orthotics. I normally wear a size 9 but needed a 9.5 and a perfect fit. I will buy Taos again. Thanks Zappos’s

I have worn orthotics for years and this is the first pair of shoes that I have put on where I did not need them. They are comfortable and great metatarsal and arch support.

I loved these from the moment I put them on. Wore to work with a skirt and out to dinner with white pants. After ALL day, my usual hurting legs and toes were tired, but not hurting. Several reviews indicated a narrow toe box, and I hesitated to order, but found the opposite to be true. My size 7, narrow-ish feet are very happy with plenty of room in the toe without being too loose in the heel. Ecco for the win!

I like that these come in Wide width, which is not the case with some other Taos sneakers. In my regular size, the wide left room for my bunions. However, these shoes seem to be low-volume, so my feet felt a little squeezed from the top. They just weren't as comfortable or cute as the Taos Shooting Star, so I kept those and returned the Moc Stars.

I ordered wide, but they still rubbed against my big toe! I was sad because I love the way they look. Fortunately, Keens sneakers in size medium gave me the width I needed in the toe box. If only Taos wide was truly wide in the toe box!

Nice shoe, but the back of the shoe rubs my heel. I was looking for something to wear with bare feet. These won't work for that.

Size as expected, love the style. Alas, I have cranky feet and there just wasn't enough support without having to buy expensive insoles. If I were 20 years younger I would totally have been able to wear these.

I've come to have high expectations from Taos. All my other Taos sandals and shoes fit in a size 8 (I am a US 8 or Our 39, although I tend to be between a 39 and 40 in some brands). I measured these agains the Z-Soul in size 8, and the sole appears to be about 1/4" or a full size shorter. The Z-Soul definitely had more cushioning under my cranky feet (ballet at a young age, arthritis now), so as cute as these are they have to go back. Darn.

Need to order 1/2 size larger than normal shoe size.

I love the arch support in these shoes, but I wish they had more padding in the heels and toes. Love the style. Cute with leggings, jeans, shorts, dresses. I’ll wear them a lot.

Feel to the touch is soft/nice. Not much cushion under front half of the sole, thus not terribly comfortable. Like the overall look.

I have narrow, size 8.5, plantar fasciitis feet. I love the looks of the Moc Star and ordered a half size up. The 9 was too long especially on my skinny feet so I ordered an 8.5. I can’t decide whether to keep them because they are so stiff and my big toe is rubbing the top of the shoe. I have the Freedom sneaker which is exactly the same size but the leather is so soft, my toes are happy.

This shoe was exactly what I was looking for but in the end had to send them back. I wear a 7 in Merrell sandals, 8 in Merrell lace up casual/clog, 8 in Born lace up casual, and 9 in New Balance running/tennis type shoes. I purchased this shoe in an 8.5 based on reviews and they were almost perfect except for the toe depth on my 1/4 inch longer foot. The top of the shoe pushes down on the end of my big toe and is immediately uncomfortable. By depth I mean from the bottom of my toe to the top of my toe. I have this problem with many shoes with my larger foot. The material of the shoe is a nice canvas type material, the laces are nice and wide, the heel was cozy on my slightly narrow heals and the insert is the best for my semi-high arches. Felt like they were made for just my foot. I tried the Star Burst in wool hoping the softer fabric wouldn't bother my toe, but no luck. I tried the Moc Star in a 9 but they are just too long and the 8/12 wide eliminated the toe problem but my foot sloshed around too much. So disappointed they didn't work out and thanks Zappos for your fast service that allowed me to try the different sizes/width/fabric.

These shoes are very comfortable. I was skeptical about this purchase because every other shoe I bought like this did not feel good. These are different. There is arch support and cushioning in the heel area and if you walk heavy on your feet like I do, then you know this is a must! After reading the reviews, instead of ordering a size up, I ordered a wide width in my regular size and soooooo glad I did! I got the color (graphite) and love it. . I’m on day two of wearing them and my feet are comfy. The ONLY thing I would suggest is I wish there was a little more cushioning in the toe area. But as long as my arch and heel feel good….ima keeping em!!

If you have a high instep you’ll probably need to remove the very nice insert and replace with something thinner, giving you more room in the shoe but decreasing the comfort. Laced up they made my feet look wide/fat, which they aren’t. Arch support is pretty aggressive if you like that. Cute style for a comfort shoe. Not enough run in the toe box for my 4th toes but it’s a common problem I have with shoes that taper at the toe.

Super cute shoe with high ratings. I’m sending back for a bigger size. I normally wear a 6W and they felt too short and too narrow. Will try a half size bigger.

I went with the Indigo Distressed, which is beautiful, and I ordered a half size up as some suggested. Unfortunately, I had to send them back because a half size larger was too large. And even though I ordered medium width, they felt very wide. The arch support was really great though and they are good-looking shoes.

I love these shoes! They are super cute with a decent arch support. However, the sizing is off. I usually wear 8.5 or 9 depending on the shoe. I ended up with a 9.5. They are also on the narrow side.

The size was perfect, true to size. They are adorable. I love the blue color. They have the wonderful Taos arch support. The shoes are a little stiff, which I hope loosens with time.

Cute as can be. Reviews recommended ordering 1/2 - a full size up because they run short. Since my feet are narrow, I ordered only a half size up. Gotta go to a full size larger. Hope they’re not too wide. Really cute sneakers.

I normally wear a 9.5 but ordered a 10 as others suggested and I am glad I did. I am still wearing them around the house. I have some foot issues so I need to "try before I buy" but so far they are comfortable right out of the box which is unusual for me and a good sign. Plus they are cute! also hard for me to find!

I read previous reviews and ordered a half-size up. I am normally a standard 9Med but I ordered the 9.5 and they fit great. Good support. Look great.

I was so happy that I finally found a pair of Taos in wide that I liked, especially a sneaker style that doesn't look like space shoes as so many others do. I ordered half a size up as recommended but they were too long. Wide width seemed to be okay. My only complaint is they are not as comfortable as some have stated. I don't have much padding on the bottom of my feet and the insoles had no cushion and it felt like I was walking on stones. I really, really wanted to like these but they're not for me.
